A Match Into Water

I began to cry at the thought of my baby having a deformity and the possibility of me loosing my baby too.

"Don't cry....let me do the ultra sound and see how baby is" The nurse passed me some tissues to dry my eyes with.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Okay the jelly is going to be cold onto the skin just to warn you"

She put the jelly onto my stomach which now had a slight roundness to it.

I held Vic's hand unable to breathe until I heard a thump, thump thump....my little ones heart beat.

A tear fell from Vic's eye however I didn't think it would be of happiness however he still held my hand.

"Okay the good new is everything appears to be fine however if you have any problems just ring up the midwifed suit and we will get you in as soon as possible"

I sighed in relief.

She moved the wand around my stomach then stooped.

"Are you ready to see your baby?" She looked so excited.

"Yeah.." I was so nervous!

She turned the monitor around and I saw my baby.

I began to cry: the nurse handed me another tissue.

"Would you like a photo?"

"Please"

She printed off a photo and handed it to me.

*2 hours later*

I was discharged from hospital and took home.

Me and Vic didn't really speak, I'll call him later.

I kept looking at the photo of my little baby.

I drifted to sleep holding the photo close to my chest.

I still didn't know what I'm going to do though...

So Alisha seems quite happy however is she really?

How is Vic...he seems so reserved?

So while I've been writing these past 4/5 chapters is cry, I know it seems sad but it's just too close to home however I hope you guys like it....
