I was woken up by knocking at my door. I sighed and got slowly up. It was an improvement, I didn't feel like running to the bathroom. Although I still need to eat. I opened the door and saw Kellin. This is supposed to be a secure building.
"Hi Zee," he said cheerfully.
"Hey Kels," I muttered.
"Can I come in?"
"Sure," I shrugged.
We walked through into my living room. I sat on the sofa and Kellin looked around before he sat down.
"So, what's up, Kels?" I asked.
"Kate told me," he explained.
"Told you what?" I asked, my voice high.
"I know you're pregnant,"
"Oh," I muttered weakly. "And are you okay with that?"
"I wasn't really, or maybe I was just shocked. But I am now,"
"That's good," I nodded.
"Don't be mad at Kate. You know she's away and she just wanted me knowing in case something happened,"
"Did she tell you who the father is?"
"No, she said you'd tell me when you're ready. I kind of got the impression I knew him,"
"You do," I sighed.
"And when I found out I kind of wanted to fuck up the guy for not putting something on it. But I've calmed down now," he explained.
"I will tell you, Kels. But not now. He doesn't even know,"
"Do you think he'll want to be there and pay support?"
"I hope so. He's a half decent guy. Everyone seems to like him," I told him.
"Who knows? If you don't mind me asking,"
"You, Kate, my parents, and Austin," I said. "Oh and Cope,"
"Cope?"
"I had a breakdown and told her everything,"
"How did she take it?"
"She bit my eyebrow," I said casually.
"Look, I want you to know that I don't really care about the dad, unless you do. Not yet anyway. But I want you to know I'm here, just like Kate is,"
"Thank you," I breathed and he hugged me.
"Kate has a million books as well. If you want to know anything, just ask,"
"I'm actually really grateful. Thanks,"
"Have you been to the doctor yet?"
"I was actually going to go today," I told him.
"Great," he nodded. "Well, I just want to tell you that it'll be okay. In the end,"
I smiled at Kellin. I went forward to hug him again and he squeezed me. I put my head in his neck and he patted me on the back.

A week later I was at six weeks. I was still being sick and I can't stand the sight of bacon. Accept if it's English, then its completely different.
I also have my first scan today. Katelynne is away working still so I didn't know who to ask to come with me. My parents are still keeping their distance and Austin is in the studio all day. I decided on Kellin.
We walked towards the hospital and I grabbed his hand. He squeezed mine in comfort. Then we walked to the department. I went to the desk and handed them my letter.
"If you take a seat we'll be with you soon," the woman at the desk said.
"Thanks," Kellin told her.
We went to sit down. Then I looked around the room. I saw women rubbing their pregnant bellies and smiling up at their partners. Or glaring in the case of a few.
"I'm going to be so fat," I groaned.
"No you won't. You'll be pregnant, there's a difference," he countered.
"My career is over. I'll never loose the weight,"
"Kate did,"
"I won't. I'm just unlucky," I explained and he rubbed my back.
"Zandra Knight!" a woman called.
I got up and she smiled at me warmly. I took Kellin's hand and we followed the woman. We walked into a room and she gestured me to get on the bed.
"If you want to lift up your top," the woman said.
I did and she squirted gel onto my belly. I winced from the cold and the woman laughed.
"Now here," the woman said.
She went over my belly and it came on the screen. I watched a grey blob on the screen and frowned. Kellin looked at me and raised his eyebrows.
"Isn't it beautiful," the woman gasped.
"Beautiful," Kellin said.
"Um . . . Yeah," I muttered.
"I'll just get it printed for you," she said and left the room.
"Could Kate see anything?" I asked nervously.
"No, she pretended," he told me.
"Good, I'm looking at the screen thinking what bullshit this is," I said, causing Kellin to laugh.
