Why Do You Torture Me So?

I was on Pierce the Veil's bus. And I was royally screwed!

"Hey Doll Face. What's your name?" Tony Perry, the guitarist for the band said smiling at me. I looked around the bus as I felt all of their eyes on me. It was quite awkward. I pulled my hoodie sleeves down a bit more and bit my lip. Umm extremely awkward for me. You see Pierce the Veil was my favorite band right next to My Chemical Romance and Black Veil Brides. They had gotten me through a lot of stuff.

"Um are you okay Doll?" Jaime asked as the three of them walked closer to me. "You're really pale. Are you going to faint?!" He asked frightened and I waved them off. My feelings were a trainwreck right now.

I had meet them before. When they were just a little band, I had seen them play and hung out with them. I'm 20 now. Before when I first met them I was 15. Its been almost 5 years. 5 years since Vic saw my cuts and made me promise I wouldn't do it again. Five years since I broke my promise to him. Five damn years since Mike, Tony and I played a shit load of pranks on Jaime and Vic.

"Hey don't cry Darling." Mikey said softly. I fell forward into Mike's chest and gripped as tightly as I could. He brushed the hair behind my ear and saw the peace sign tattoo that we had gotten on a month into knowing each other. Id spend days over at his and Vic's house.

"Fuck. Alice. I didn't even recognize you. And I feel like shit now. I'm so sorry Baby Girl." He said wrapping me into a tight embrace that made my head spin. He remember! I thought to myself. He really remembered me.

"Oh Mikey. I've missed you guys so much." I whispered as he held me close.

"Group hug!", Jaime yelled loudly making me laugh. Within a millisecond second Mikey and I were getting the crap hugged outta us and I started laughing. I already felt at home.

"So what have you been up to little lady?" Hi-Me Timey asked with a laugh. I pulled out of the hug to flash a 1000 watt smile at him.

"Ya know. The usual." I replied with a goofy smile. I looked in the back to see Vic still singing with his eyes closed. He didnt even hear us. Weirdo. He didn't bother opening his eyes to see what the noise was. And I say once again, Weirdo!

"So what are you doing with your life?"Tony asked softly fixing his hat. Awwwie he still had the baseball hat that I gave him several years ago. That's so adorable! Tony Turtle still had it.

"I work as a sales girl in Hot Topic on the weekends and during the week I work as an bank secretary." I said slightly ashamed. I had never enjoyed working as the secretary. It was always annoying. I had to hide the tattoos. And the other people who worked there didn't enjoy them.

"Really Alice? You work at a bank? I could never believe that. What happened to the whole band idea?" Mike asked and I shrugged. I was really dreading this question.

"Umm after my family moved here I couldn't find anyone who was really like me. Its taken me this many years to establish the little band I made now. We're suckish but we love doing the gigs. We make some teens happy where they come and sing our petty little songs. Its not full time but we play Weeknights at 8-midnight. Every night. So I havn't given up guys. I'm just waiting." I ended up yelling while trying t explain. Tears had gathered in my eyes and they threatened spill over. I kept yelling.

"Huh? Is someone hurt? I keep hearing someone yelling." Vic said running into the front of the bus. I looked up into his face and broke down letting all the tears run. Stupid girl. Stupid girl freaking out over her old friends.

"Holy Flying Fucks! Its Alice! Ive missed you!" He yelled hugging me. I hugged him back tightly not daring to let go. I didn't want to let go for I feared he'd disappear. Maybe I'm not so bad. But maybe their so perfect.
