Josh's POV

"You get dressed fast for a girl." I chuckled as Dayani came down the stairs

She smirked "You should be grateful for that pothead."

We walked out the house and to the car. I turned on the radio and Pierce the Veil came blaring through the speaker. I pratically grew up listening to them seeing that Jaime is my cousin.

"So exactly what's going on at your cousin's house." Dayani asked as she looked out the window

"Ummmm just a get together. " I lied

Jaime was throwing a band party today. The boys from Sleeping with Sirens, Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, Falling In Reverse and so many other bands are suppose to be there. It's gonna be crunk and packed as hell. I would never dare tell Dayani that it was a party. She's very antisocial and insecure about herself.

I looked over at her. She's beautiful, I have no idea how anyone could tell her otherwise. Her long pink hair was so soft and complemented her carmel skin well. I never understood how the girls at school could call her an ugly clown. I just assumed it was jealousy.

"Josh!" She yelled at me snapping me from my thoughts "Watch the mothafucking road. Are you trying to kill us."

I laughed "Yes, yes I am."

She giggled while smacking me in the arm "Such a fucking pothead."

I laughed as I turned the corner to my cousins house. Cars were parked all around his house. Music was playing loud as hell and it was so crowded.

"Just a little get together huh." Dayani whispered while looking at me

Dayani's POV


Josh sighed "Okay maybe it's not little, but it is a get together."

"Why didn't you just tell me it was a party? Why did you lie?" I said just a little hurt. I was very emotionally unstable, the smallest things hurt me nowdays.

"If I would have told you that my cousin is throwing a party you wouldn't have came." Josh said while looking at me "You need to enjoy yourself. Whatever happened to you before you moved here is in the past, and it's in the past for a reason."

I sighed as I opened the car door "You're right."

We started walking towards the front door. I paused, hesistant about going around so many people. How about if they don't like me. What if they pick on me like everyone at school does.

"Dayani, just relax sweetheart. It's just a party. Just have fun." Josh whispered while giving me a hug.

If only Josh knew why I was so tense. If only he knew what happened to me the last time I went to a party. Maybe her would understand why I'm so paranoid. Why I'm so terrified.

Josh grabbed my hand and opened the door. There where people everywhere. I looked down not wanting people to see my face. If they realized how ugly I was they might start picking on me.

Josh led me over to the beer coolers where a girl with curly hair was standing "Peanut!"

"White boy!" She yelled while running over to Josh and hugging him "How have ya been Joshy?"

"I've been good. How about you Candice, How's life treating you?"

"It's been good, I've been on tour with the boys and..." Candice paused and gasped "Well who is this gorgeous girl here?"

Josh stepped aside "This is Dayani, Dayani this is Candice, my......ummm my. Shit what the hell are you!"

"I guess I'm his unbiological cousin." Candice said while sticking out her hand for me to shake "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." I said barely above a whisper "

Awww you a shy one." Candice laughed

Josh shook his head "Very!"

Candice grabbed my hand and pratically dragged me "Come on girl, we gonna go and have the most fun ever. I bet you'll never have a Friday night like this again in your whole entire life"

I only had one thought haunting me.

She said 'I bet you'll never have a Friday night like this again...'
Is that a good thing or a bad one.
