It's been two months since my mother left me. Two months since I was forced to take care of my self. I wasn't dealing with being alone easily. Shit I could barely take care of myself. If I wasn't at school I was working. I was so tired from working, laying in my bed trying to catch up on some much needed rest.

I had just gotten comfortabe when I heard a knock on the door. I was way to tired to get up so I just laid on my bed in hopes that they would leave. The person didn't leave, in fact the person was raping my door bell.

I groaned and got up walking towards the door "Who is it?"

"Open the fucking door Day!" Josh chuckled

Josh is a friend of mine from school. On my first day at Ocean View he was so nice to me. He helped me find my classes, introduced me to some cool ass people. He's probably the first person that I would ever consider a friend. I've always had trouble letting people in.

I opened the door and was engulfed in a hug. "Hey chicken head!"

"Hey pot head!" I replied as I stepped back

Josh kissed me on the cheek " I'm gonna take you somewhere today. And no, you don't have a say in it. I'm taking you regardless if you want to or not"

"Ummmm kidnapper much." I laughed walking into the kitchen "Shit you a stalker too. How in the hell did you find out where I lived?"

Josh winked at me "A little birdy told me."

I rolled my eyes. Josh always managed to find out shit. I have no idea who his little birdies are. But whoever it is, they do a good job at scooping out info.

"Want anything?" I asked

"Nah, I ate before I came here." Josh looked around the house "Does your mom stay here with you, cause this is an awfully small place?"

I froze in my spot. I haven't told anyone about my mom abandoning me yet. Tears started to form just thinking about my mother. "Ummmm she....yeah." I lied "She's just hardly here cause she works all the time."

"Ummhmm yeah okay." he repleid while lifting his eyebrows up at me. I can tell that he didn't fully believe me but atleast he didn't dwell on it like most people would have.

Josh checked his watch "Hurry and go get dressed before we're late."

"Late where?" I asked

"It wouldn't be a suprise if I told you now would it." he said while shooing me towards my room.

I stopped dead in my tracks and pouted "If you no tell me then I no go."

"Fine, it's just to my cousin's house." He groaned " Now go, go get prettied up."

I chuckled as I ran to my room. I wonder who Josh's cousin is. I wonder what's going on at his house. I wonder if they would like me. I wonder.......I wonder.........I wonder.
