I was pulled into a dark room with a hand over my mouth.
The hand was released from my mouth and I let it out.
"WHAT THE FU-"
The hand slapped back over my mouth. I finally calmed down and the mystery person let me go.
They flickered on the light and I seen who was standing before me.

Jaime.

"Jaime what the hell?" I whispered
"I'm sorry, I had to talk to you without anyone trying to get in our business."
"Where are we?"
"We're in the closet."
"Well that's great." I said sarcastically.
"Well, I need to tell you something..." he stated seriously.
Jaime was like a big brother to me and I loved him to death.
I nodded at him signing him to continue.
"Well..." he started "I like someone."
I opened my mouth to say something, but he put up his finger signaling me to keep quiet.
"And before you start bombarding me with questions, let me actually speak." he laughed "okay, so I like Nicole. I know she's your best friend, so I wanted to talk to you about it first. She's so gorgeous and full of energy. She's someone I can be myself with. I mean, yeah, I can be myself around the guys, but she's super hyperactive all the time like I am. I find it funny that we have the same prescription of ADHD pills. But, I just really, really like her. She's fucking amazing and perfect." he smiled.
"Oh my god Jaime!" I said grabbing his hands "What the fuck are you doing in here with me?! You have to tell her right now! She'll be so happy! No guy ever treats her right, and it hurts me. But I know you will, you're amazing."
He giggled.
"I want to tell her just as much as you do. And I want you to help me tell her."
"How about you just tell her how you feel about her. Get her some roses and candy. She LOVES candy."
"I've got the perfect idea." Jaime said smiling from ear to ear.
- a drive to the candy store -
"Okay, I'm gonna need a variety of different candies." Jaime said to me, so I went in all directions getting different candies.
Damn, he must really like her.
I put all of them in a cart and stepped on the front of the cart making it drive over to Jaime.
He turned around and stopped it with his hands so I didn't crash.
I stumbled and almost fell on my butt which Jaime was laughing his head off at.
He grabbed some sticks made of candy and a vase and put it in the cart.
Which he was now riding on over to the counter.
The cashier gave him a glare and he jumped off of it.
We started piling stuff on the counter while the lady ringing things up gave us an odd look.
"Girls." Jaime said which she nodded too.
By the time we were done Jaime and I raced to the car with the bags of candy bars.
We both spent an hour working on what Jaime was going to give Nicole.
It seemed like a little surprise, but it took forever.
We were finally finished and came home to see Mike, Tony and Nicole watching Harry Potter on the couch. Tony smiled and got up to come kiss me. I gave him a short kiss and let him know what was going on.
"Uh, N-nicole." Jaime stuttered. "I have something to tell you." he said rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.
Nicole stood up off the couch and Mike turned off the TV.
I let him in on what was going on too.
Jaime was just inches away from Nicole when he got it all out.
"I like you so much Nicole. I'm trying to find a way to tell you without sounding like I'm copying Tony, but I can't." he laughed "but I think you're perfect. We're just alike in so many ways, and I like everything about you. So I want to ask you, if you'll be my girlfriend?"
They were just inches away and Nicole wrapped her arms around him and kissed him.
"I've felt the exact same way." she smiled
I picked up the candy bouquet and handed it to Nicole.
Her face lit up with joy as she squealed "CANDYYYY!" like a child. Jaime was laughing his butt off at this point and so was everyone else.
"It's from Jaime." I told her smiling.
He came over and put his arm around my shoulder "Nah, from both of us."
"It was Jaime's idea." I argued.
"BUT. She helped me with everything. So from both of us." I smiled at him.
Nicole hugged and thanked us both.
"That was so nice of you to help out Jaime, babe." Tony smiled at me.
I hugged him and watched as Jaime and Nicole dug into the candy eating every last bit of it all in one night.
"Well fuck." I said out loud. "Nicole, you know how you get when you eat candy."
She looked up at me with chocolate on the side of her mouth which I laughed at.
Jaime looked up and had chocolate on his forehead which I laughed even harder at.
I grabbed a rag and wiped it off both of them.
"So what, I'm fun as hell when I'm hyper!" Nicole said to me
"So am I!" Jaime shouted
I laughed because it was true.
And after that, the night had begun.
