It was just a dance, and now...
I wouldn't care if I had a baby a little further in the future, with Tony, but not now with Oli.
It's been a couple of days since I found out the news, and Nicole's foot is finally healed.
She's been able to manage with walking on her tip-toes, but now she can fully walk again.
Just to make sure that the test wasn't wrong, we went to the doctor and it's confirmed that I was indeed pregnant and Oli was the father.
I didn't even know if I was ready to have a baby.
I'm only 20.
I didn't grow up with a sister or a brother.
I had no experience at all.
This thing had to be kept inside of me for about 9 months.
I already know Oli didn't want to help raise the child.
But I still had to talk to him.
I asked Kellin to go with me and he obliged.
We drove back to Oli's house and knocked on his door.
"Who i- oh no no no please don't hurt me again." he begged backing up in his house.
"Don't worry. I'm not. I'm just here so Yaressi can talk with you." Kellin assured.
Oli hesitated but let us inside.
I sat beside him on the couch and Kellin walked into the kitchen.
"First off... I know you don't want a baby. I know you're not ready for one. I'm not either. But... You have to help out too. It's your child."
"I-"
"Wait. I'm not done. What you did that day... Didn't you know what was going to happen? Did you just not care? Oli, I'm only 20. I only went to college for 2 years. I work at a coffee shop god dammit. And now I have to raise a child? Who's father won't even be around as much because he's touring every 5 seconds? What do you expect me to do Oliver?" I shook my head and got up to go tell Kellin I was ready to leave, when Oli grabbed my hand.
"Wait. I do want to help with the baby. With my baby."
"Do you really Oli?"
"Yes, I do! I want to be the father I never had."
He kissed my cheek and sat back down.
"This doesn't mean I have to be with you. I'm still going to be with Tony."
He sighed "Alright."
I told Kellin I was ready to go and we set off to go back.
"Hey where have you guys been?" Vic asked curiously.
"I went to talk to Oli.." I mumbled.
"You what?! Kellin! Why'd you let her go?!"
"She had to talk to him! That's his freaking kid growing in her stomach!" Kellin spat.
Tony had overheard and walked over to me fast.
"Yaressi, are you okay? What did you say? What did he say? Tell me everything that went on."
"I told him that he's got to step up and be a father to his kid and he said that he was going to." Tony frowned.
"BUT, I'm still going to be with you."
His expression wasn't happy, but it wasn't sad.
It's been 2 months since I talked to Oli, so now I'm 3 months pregnant.
Everything has been the same as it was, except for me of course.
I vomited all the time and my belly was only a little circled over.
I knew that this was gonna be a long 9 months.
More money had to be used for more food since I practically ate everything.
I decided to practice on names.
I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, so I decided to think of 3 boy names and 3 girl names.
Melanie Sykes.
Joy Sykes.
Adaa Sykes.
Jordan Sykes
Aaron Sykes.
Gabriel Sykes.
I thought hard about these names and I liked them.
Now I have to eliminate two from each group.
Nicole helped me with this part, thank goodness.
I ended up being left with Adaa Sykes or Aaron Sykes.
I didn't like the fact that they were gonna grow up with the last name Sykes and not Perry.
I knew I could change it but it cost too much and was too complicated.
I sighed as I set down my journal with the names inside.
I called Kellin and he picked up after 3 rings.
"Hey Yaressi, what's up?"
"Just got done picking out some names for the baby."
"Really?! Let me hear them!"
"Well, if it's a boy, Aaron Sykes. If it's a girl, Adaa Sykes."
"Those are great names! But Sykes...?"
"It has to be Sykes, sadly." I sighed.
"Yeah, me sorry."
I giggled and we said our goodbyes.
I told everyone about the names and they all liked them. Good.
It was only 7:00 p.m. but I was so tired.
I climbed into my bunk and after an hour I woke up to Tony fast asleep with his arms around my waist. He looked like he had been crying, but I didn't wake him.
Just like every night, I fell asleep to the sound of Tony's light snores.
