Stay Away From My Friends

Deathbeds

Natalie smiled up at Jack who wiped his forehead on the bra’s that hung on his microphone stand. She smiled, capturing the photo at the perfect moment and continued as Alex made a short speech. The Houston air was humid, making the whole place hotter than usual. She snapped more photos, having a few of her fans take photos of her. She changed the lenses in the camera and walked up on stage, taking a few of the crowd before going behind Rian and getting photos of him and the set.

ATL was done and she took photos of the stage being set up for PTV. She looked up, seeing people around her pumped for the band. She remembered the night she first found out about them. She shook the thought away when a guy behind her tapped her on the shoulder. Natalie turned to him and he grinned.

“You’re really good at the photos you take. You and Adam caused me to major in photography and I start working with AP Magazine next week.” Natalie grinned at the boy and blushed.

“Come with me then, let’s see how good you are in photography.” She helped the boy over the barricade and brought him back stage. Natalie rushed in the back room where the band was resting and PTV was sitting, waiting for their two minute warning. They all looked at Natalie who was looking around her bag and then at the guy. He smiled, waving a bit before Natalie pulled back. “What’s your name?” Natalie asked the guy.

“Craig.” He answered. Natalie smiled, giving him her extra camera and an extra memory card.

“Well Craig, let’s do this.” Craig smiled, accepting the camera and walked back out with her to the stage. They got in front of the barricade where the security guards are and Natalie explained the camera buttons. Craig nodded, catching on quickly. The lights dimmed and the band rushed out, having the whole place erupt in cheers. Craig and Natalie took photos of the whole band, and the audience. Natalie got the signal from Vic and she quickly explained to Craig what he was going to do. He rushed out to the side of the stage and she ran behind Mike on the catwalk. She got the perfect angle and then Vic began talking.

“Raise your hand if music has ever saved your life.” He said. Natalie caught the shot a few times and got off, walking next to Mike and switching memory cards. She pointed the camera at both of them and snapped a quick picture before getting one of each member. She walked to Tony, ignoring her personal life for a while. She snapped a few of him and he looked over at her, running his hand through his sweat covered hair. She took another picture and he grabbed her arm.

“This next song is for you.” He said, and she nodded, pulling away and back down with Craig. The band began playing Bulletproof Love and Natalie looked at Tony who played with everything he had. Natalie snapped a photo before stopping to listen to the song. The song was in their second CD, which came out a year after she had left Tony. She looked at him and he had his eyes closed, playing his heart out. Craig passed her, taking more photos as he saw her standing there. He stood next to her and gently nudged her.

“You okay?” He smiled. Natalie looked at him and forced her smile.

“Everything is perfect.” She assured and they continued to take the photos.

“Thanks for this opportunity Nat, it means a lot to me.” Craig said, giving Natalie her camera back with a filled up memory card.

“No problem, just give me your email and I will send you an email with all the photos you took okay?” Craig nodded and they said goodbye one last time before heading to the buses. Natalie stayed on the couch, downloading the pictures as the guys sat around her and watched them, occasionally making comments about them. Once she had finished, she called it a night and went to the back going to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and changed into a pair of shorts and T-shirt. She shivered, suddenly feeling very cold and grabbed a sweater from her bag. She put on the huge sweater, finding Austin’s scent still there and she smiled. She crawled into Alex’s bed and scooted closer to the wall, closing her eyes. She was about to fall asleep when Alex got in next to her and turned his back to her.

“Night Nat.” He yawned and Natalie smiled.

“Good night Alex.” And she fell asleep.

Natalie woke up the next morning, the smell of pancakes in the air and humming. Natalie stretched up from the bed, having her legs hit the cold, smooth of the wooden floor. She walked out of the room, scratching her head and yawning. She winced, stepping back and looking down at the scattered Lego’s on the floor. She stared at them, wondering what was going on and then looked around. She didn’t recognize the huge house. Natalie stepped over the Lego’s and quickly made her way to the kitchen, following the smell of the pancakes. She quietly looked around, seeing some shirtless guy making the food while a little girl played in her highchair. Natalie stared at the girl, who looked no older than two, playing with a small doll. The little girl looked up and grinned at the sight of Natalie.

“Mommy!” The girl happily said. Natalie froze and stepped back, catching a glance of the guy who was making the pancakes.

“Good morning babe, breakfast should be ready soon so you can have a seat with Victoria.” Tony smiled. Natalie stared at him and nodded, walking to the highchair and having the baby wave her arms.

“Up mommy, up!” Victoria cried and Natalie picked her up, eyeing her. She had chocolate brown eyes like Tony, but her hair was blonde, matching hers. Natalie watched as the girl played with the ring on her left ring finger. Natalie stared at the ring, wondering what was happening when suddenly two twin boys around five ran by and made crashing noises with their cars. She watched as they sat on the chairs in the kitchen and smiled up at Natalie. She smiled back, looking at Tony who turned the stove off and put the plate of pancakes on the table. The twins began eating and Tony took Victoria and put her in her highchair again with her juice cup. Tony smiled at Natalie and wrapped an arm around her waist.

Natalie looked around the room and back to Tony. He smiled and gently kissed her forehead. “I love you.” He whispered.

“I love you too.” Natalie spoke out and she hugged him.

Natalie sat up, holding her head and hearing people talking in the lounge. She took deep breaths. It was a dream, that's all it was. A dream. She assured herself, but having a sort of happy feeling with it.

@PierceTheP3rry

See love, this is why I love you. Once I think I'm done with the whole story, you remind me of her and I realize, this can't be the end. One more chapter will be posted, THEN the epilogue.
