"Brianna," I heard someone calling my name, but I couldn't place the name. I ached all over, my arms, legs, and chest especially. I couldn't move as if I was weighted down by an invisible force. I opened my eyes a tiny bit and saw blurry figures, spiky hair, Jaime. It all came back to me, him kicking me out, Tony hating me. I started crying painfully and I couldn't lift my arms to wipe away the tears. "Bri, what's wrong? C'mon, just answer me. I know you can hear me. Brianna," I heard Jaime starting to half croak/half scream.

"Hey, dude, calm down and breathe. She'll be okay," I heard Tony. Tony...

My sobs increased and made me start choking until the soothing hand that was placed on my back started to calm me down and I could breathe and relax. I opened my eyes, "Jaime?"

He looked up at me and hugged me. I cringed and wanted to get away, "Bri. What's wrong?"

"I thought you hated me. Both of you thought I was crazy," I choked on my tears as I remembered what they said to me. I turned specifically towards Jaime again, "and I thought you kicked me out."

Their faces displayed complete shock. "Is that why you did it? You thought we said that to you?" Jaime asked.

Wait a minute. "Did what?"

"Bri, you went to take a bath and an hour passed so Jaime went to see if you were okay and you wouldn't answer. He had to bash the door in and you had relapsed and almost drowned, but he called me and got you to the hospital in time," Tony explained.

"No, I fell asleep in the bath and then he woke me up and he was making me pizza, but then Lucas came in and he was 3 and I got so confused so I tried talking to Jaime and he told me I was crazy and shouldn't be around Lucas and then he gave me his credit card and told me go to some hotel." I turned to Tony, "and then I called you and you told me to leave you alone and that I was crazy."

Little did we know the doctor was listening in until he cleared his throat. "Hi Brianna."

I smiled at him, "assuming you heard all of that, what happened?"

"Okay, I'm not one hundred percent sure, but you seemed to show symptoms of schizophrenia. It's mild so we'll give you some medication that will hopefully work and your husband will have to keep a close eye on you. You also have to get a monthly evaluation to make sure everything is running smoothly. The medicine might make you a little tired, anxious, dizzy at first, but once it goes though your system that'll partially go away."

I nodded, not really sure what to believe,"but what I remember is so realistic."

"I know, that's one of the things that happens. We have someone who will explain everything to you when you go home in a couple days and we'll start the medication tomorrow morning," he replied and walked out.

I looked at Jaime, "it'll be okay," he said immediately, but I think it was more to reassure himself.
