~A week later, Jaime's pov~
Brianna was home and I had taken off of work to take care of her since it was still rough. Her new medicine's side effects were a little stronger since she was already on other meds so she could barely eat. She slept a lot but I promised the doctor I would make sure she was awake for at least half of the day. We were at the dinner table having a mini party with the guys since it was Lucas' 1st half birthday, it was a tradition Bri's family did when she was little and she wanted to carry it on.

The guys all brought tons of gifts so Bri yelled at them. Saying, "she doesn't want to start spoiling him." But with all our families, there would be a lot of spoiling in another six months. Caught up in the fun, she ate a lot more than usual so I was waiting for her to get sick any minute, but surprisingly she didn't. I looked at her, "is that medicine finally settled?"

She gave me a look, "don't jinx it."

I laughed, yep she was back along with her personality.
