Chapter 34.
TONY~
I felt all sense of hope being ripped out of me, along with my heart.
"Wh-What?"
"Tone, she doesn't live in SD. I still love her to death, don't get me wrong, but who are we to just tear her away from her home and just expect her to run off with us? It wouldn't be fair to her."
"She doesn't even have fucking family in Minnesota!" I nearly screamed at him before looking at the guys to realize that they were sitting in silence. "Guys, help me out here. We need to keep her safe. I love her with all of my heart, just say something." I pleaded with them.
"Adds is amazing, and I care about her so much, but I see where Vic's coming from." Mike said and looked over at a peacefully sleeping Adeline across from us. "BUT, I can't take the chance of her being in danger, knowing we could keep it from happening. Shit, I don't even think I can be without the little one in general." I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. Could there be a chance?
"I agree, but we can't just expect her to drop everything for us. It doesn't work out like that Tone." Jaime whispered.
"No! That's bullshit! You all claim that you 'Love' her, but I'm the only one putting up a fight for this!" I screamed, my anger beginning to get the best of me.
"Hey, don't fucking say we don't love her, we're just not selfish enough to do that to her." Vic spat at me.
"OH SO YOU'RE CALLING ME SELFISH BECAUSE I WANT MY GIRLFRIEND WITH ME AND TO KEEP HER SAFE?!"
"No, it's not like that... Just, give everyone time to think about it. We still have 3 weeks before crew even starts packing up. about 5 before we're actually home.." I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
"What the fuck ever. You guys didn't see the fear in her eyes that I saw when she was scared that we would leave her. You don't understand. You promised her one thing, one fucking thing, and whether or not you guys are, I'm planning to keep that promise." I spat. They sighed and Jaime went to open his mouth, but the pounding on our bus door interrupted him. We jumped slightly and me being the one standing, I walked towards it and opened it to be practically trampled from Kellin and the guys.
"We saw what happened! Where's Addie! Is she-"
"Shhhhhhut up!" I whisper yelled and pointed to the couch. The guys gave me an apologetic smile and I just nodded. Justin sat on the floor in front of her and brushed some hair out of her face.
"She's okay?" Kellin asked and sat on the arm rest, looking down at her.
"Eh, we'll find out when she wakes up." Jaime said. They all nodded.
"Dude, you don't know just how close that light was to hitting you. We all thought you were dead as soon as we saw it fall. Adeline fucking saved your life." Gabe said. Jaime nodded.
"I know.."
"And we all owe her, right?" I said and raised my eyebrows at them.
"Tony leave it alone, just let me think about it, fuck."
"Are we missing something?" Jesse asked. I sighed and looked at Addie.
"I'm trying to get her to come home with us."
"I say you do it dude." Kellin said to Vic. "She's like a little lost puppy without you guys. You mean alot to her, don't make her think she was just some fling on tour, like someone you just used to keep you company. That's not good."
"Well, damn, when you put it like that.." Mike said. "I'm down for it, I just hate to see her move and go through all that trouble for us. It's gotta be unanimous though, and Vic needs to.. 'Think' " He said, throwing up air quotes. I bit back a scoff and rolled my eyes.
My Princess will come home with us. That's a fucking promise.
----------TOMORROW NIGHT-----------
"Adds, what in the world are you doing? You say you have the worst headache, but your eyes are glued to a computer screen.." I said and laughed. She rolled her eyes and flipped me off. I gasped and started to fake cry. She set the computer down and practically fell, running towards me as fast as her little legs could carry her, and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"I'm sorry Tony, you know I love you." She said. Her voice sounded strained and hoarse from the incident, so I picked her up, setting her back on the couch and started a pot of honey tea for her. She smiled and blew me a kiss, and I winked back at her, making her cheeks darken slightly. I chuckled and sat back next to her. She pushed her back against my side and propped up her knees so that she could read whatever she was so interested in.
"Whatcha readin, hmmm?" I asked, leaning my chin on her shoulder.
"Fan fiction, it's amazing how-"
"Yeah our fans are pretty..." I trailed off, trying to find the word, but Addie cut in.
"In love with you guys."
"Something like that. Wait, so what exactly are you reading?"
"Perrentes. Remind me to warn Mike that you're mine." I busted out laughing and rolled my eyes.
"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about...Maybe, I dunno, Mike's very pretty and I wouldn't mind if-"
"Can we not take it that far? Please, Jesus Christ."
"Awh why Adds, can't handle it?" I asked with a smirk.
"No, I just think you're just going to give away the ending."
"Oh, the one where Mike and I run off into the sunset or some shit? Adds, come on." She rolled her eyes.
"What... The hell... Are you guys talking about?" Mike said and walked up to us.
"Perrentes fan fictions."
"Jesus Christ, I don't know how they figured out we've fucked Tony, I never told anyone about that drunken night in LA, did you?" He asked, Sarcasm dripping from his voice.
"Nope, I would never, but that doesn't mean I don't forget it.." I said and winked sarcastically.
"Closet whores..." Addie mumbled. We both busted out laughing and I got up to get her tea. I brought it back and gave her a kiss.
"Love you." She whispered.
"Love you too."
"Tone, can we talk?" I looked back at Mike and nodded.
"I'll be right back babe." She nodded and Mike and I both walked into the back lounge.
"What's up?"
"Okay, I managed to get a straight answer out of Vic." He said. My heart beat sped up and I nodded quickly.
"And?!" He sighed and I searched his eyes for anything that said she could. My heart continued to pound in my ears as the eerie silence fell over this. He was waiting too long, I didn't like this.
I looked at the blank expression on his face and my anxiety started to get the best of me. She has to go with us, she has to.
"Please, fuck I can't take it anymore Mike!" I screamed at him. He bit his lip piercing and sighed.
"Tone.." He whispered, his voice coming out sadly. No, I won't lose faith in this, not until I have a definite answer.
I took a deep breath and shut my eyes tightly, bracing myself for the next words to come out of his mouth..
