RACHEL'S POV

Collapsing next to Tony's sweaty body, I caught my breathe as he did too. I still can't believe it. I'm engaged! Letting out a small 'eek' by accident, I covered my mouth and giggled to myself.

'What was that?' he asked breathlessly.

'I don't know,' I confessed.

'I need to tell you something,' he said, turning on to his side and resting one hand on my hip. 'When I came back to San Diego I went to go and see your Dad before I came home.'

'Why?' I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

'I wanted to ask if I could marry you,' he said, looking downwards. This boy. This fucking boy.

'Tony,' I awed, pressing my lips against his for a second. 'You're something else.' His big brown eyes met with mine and I could feel myself melting more and more with every slow, soft blink.

'Guys!' Shouted Vic through the bus, 'can we come in?'

'Why couldn't you?' I shouted, opening the bunk curtain slightly.

'In case you two were still fucking,' slurred Mike. 'Congratulations by the way!'

'Thanks Mike,' I laughed.

Pulling the curtain back over, I lifted the cover up to my neck and curled up underneath. I buried my head in Tony's chest and he wrapped his muscly arms around me - the sound of his heartbeat soon sent me off to sleep.

The tour went by faster than I could have ever imagined. The 3rd soon came, meaning that it was over and we were a matter of hours from San Diego. It was definitely one of the best times in my life - being on the road with my best friends and fiancee, travelling the world, meeting thousands of new people - who could ask for anything more?

'You packed?' Asked Kevin, taking a sip of his coffee.

'Yeah,' I nodded.

'You not eating breakfast?' He continued.

'Nah,' I said, 'feel a bit sick.'

'Aw,' he sighed. 'Well, it's only like an hour until you're home.'

'Yeah,' I smiled, 'I'm going to miss this though! Why does this break have to be so long? This has been like the best six months of my life!'

'We'll be out on the road before you know it,' he laughed. 'Glad you had fun though!'

TONY'S POV

Taking my suitcase out my bunk, I put it to one side as I pulled Rachel's out. Taking one in each hand, I headed off the bus with the heavy bags. Stepping out into the warm air, I put down the bags and said goodbye to the guys and the crew.

Picking the bags back up, me and Rachel waved the bus off as it pulled out of the driveway and left the quiet neighborhood. With only a backpack full of miscellaneous times to carry, Rachel opened the door and let us both in. We took our things up to the bedroom before heading back downstairs and settling in.

'What do you want for lunch?' I asked her.

'I'm not hungry,' she groaned. 'Is it just me or is it roasting in here?'

'No,' I said, worry evident in my voice. 'Maybe you're just not use to the SD weather yet?'

'Yeah,' she nodded, biting her lip. 'That's what it'll be.' Suddenly, she bounced of the counter top and skipped towards the small bag of food we'd brought home with us. 'Ice cream? Tell me we've got ice cream.' Her mood had changed completely, she was humming whilst searching for the desert. 'Tony, there's no ice cream,' she said with horror.

'You alright?' I laughed, wrapping my arms around her waist.

'Yes, god! Why does everyone ask me that? Like, hello, I'm here aren't I? Of course I'm alright. We just need ice cream, that's all.' Her mood altered once again and now there was fury clear in her eyes. Letting go of her, I looked around quizzically as she stormed upstairs. 'All I wanted was ice cream, ugh!' She shouted.

'What the fuck,' I laughed in my hands as I rubbed my face.
