*** ALICE’S POV ***
I haven’t heard from Tony all night. this is so bizarre. We’re usually constantly texting each other. Cassie spots the worry on my face before I felt myself even showing it.
“What’s wrong honey?” she came closer to me.
“Call Jaime to see if he’s answering his phone please? I have a feeling something bad has happened. Tony doesn’t ever go like an hour without speaking to me, never mind 4 hours.”
“Uh, okay.. I’m sure they’re just perfecting their music. You know what they’re like with it. But I’ll call Hime just to make sure okay?” I nodded and sat back, starting to relax again. Maybe she was right. Maybe they were just trying to perfect every little detail. Maybe his phone has gone dead and he hasn’t noticed…
“Jaime isn’t answering either… That is strange actually. I’ll call Vic.”
It rang and rang and rang but once again there was no answer. I decided to text Mike.
To: Mikey
Uh Mike, I was just wondering if you’d heard from any of the guys? I know you’s were practicing tonight and I’ve not heard from Tony and it’s unlike him…
Almost seconds after I hit send he replied.
From: Mikey
Sweetie I’m not with the guys. I went out. I kinda lost my shit, I’m having a tough time so I decided to leave them til I cooled off. They’re probably just going over some music and didn’t hear their phone going off xx
Mike never texts me like that. Something is definitely fucking going on and I want to know what. Mike rarely ever sends kisses in texts unless he’s fucked something up. And what does he meant by ‘lost my shit’? Cass and I phoned and texted all four guys multiple times and none of them answered.
“What the fuck is with these guys! Let’s just go to sleep, fuck them.” I said as I dropped my phone down on the floor in anger.
“You sure?”
“Yeah, night Cassie! I love you.”
“Night Ally bear, love you!”
I thought I’d be up for hours racking my brain for reasons as to why Tony wasn’t answering his phone but I ended up feeling my eyelids get heavier and I fell asleep into a soft dreamless sleep.
I woke up the next morning to no texts or phonecalls from any of the guys. Fuck them then. I got up and got my shower whilst Cassie still slept. I got out of my shower and woke her up gently. She groaned and rolled over and I ended up having to take the covers off her so she’d actually move from the bed.
“I hate mornings.” She pouted at me.
“Me too. Now get ready lady!” I giggled at her little pouty face.
I got changed into my outfit and decided I couldn’t be bothered doing anything with my hair, so I put it up in a bun. I done my makeup and decided to phone Tony one last time. After this he can fuck off if he doesn’t answer. I’m not one to be ignored for no reason. It rang for quite a while before he finally picked up.
“Hello?”
“Alice. Hi.”
“Hi? Seriously? What the fuck Tony?”
“What…?”
“Are you even going to acknowledge the fact that you’ve ignored me all last night?”
“Ignored you? I didn’t get any texts from you.” he said really quietly, I could tell he was lying.
“Fuck you Tony. Something’s going on and I want to know what.”
“Alice I gotta get ready for school, bye”
And the line went dead. What the fuck? Tony never lies to me…
*** TONY'S POV ***
I felt bad for not answering Alice all night but I had no other choice. The guys and I promised we wouldn’t tell her. She had to find out in person and as much as I wanted to answer all her texts and phonecalls I couldn’t. It’s better for her to find out in person. I woke up to her calling me and I answered it quickly…
“Hello?” She spoke loudly into the phone, instantly waking me up more.
“Alice. Hi.”
“Hi? Seriously? What the fuck Tony?”
“What…?” I pretended like I didn’t have the slightest clue what was going on
“Are you even going to acknowledge the fact that you’ve ignored me all last night?” I could hear the hurt in her voice. This is killing me.
“Ignored you? I didn’t get any texts from you.” I spoke really quietly; it’s how to tell when I’m lying. Fuck this is hard. I hate lying to her.
“Fuck you Tony. Something’s going on and I want to know what.” She spat.
“Alice I gotta get ready for school, bye” and I hung up the phone as quickly as possible and got ready for school, like I said. This had to be done in person. Fuck… She is going to hate me.
*** ALICE’S POV ***
I just can’t believe he’s lying to me… Like seriously. I don’t know what the fuck to think. I packed a lunch for Cassie and I and we made the journey to school by walking. I didn’t want to see Tony. I’m so fucking pissed off at him and the guys. Cassie is too.
“Hey Ally, let’s just go straight to class. I really don’t wanna wait about on a bunch of assholes.”
“Yeah that’s a good point. We’ll ignore them like the fuckers ignored us.” We high fived and giggled. We’re trying to make ourselves feel a little better. Cassie always knows how to do that for me. I love her for that. God knows where I’d be without this girl!
Cassie and I made our way to our lockers with our arms linked and as I was putting stuff in my locker I heard it. The voice of my old friend, Kerrie.
“Oh have I told you guys about the gossip going about right now?” She spat.
“Oh fuck off Kerrie, we don’t want to hear it, alright? Grow up already.” Cassie rolled her eyes and just as we were about to walk away Kerrie grabbed my wrist back.
“What the fuck do you want?!” I shouted in her face.
“Just thought you’d like to know that I’m pregnant. With your man’s baby.” She winked at me and walked away with her minions, laughing. “He’s great in bed by the way!” she shouted as she continued to walk.
