Aria's P.O.V
This was it. This was my one and only chance. I had to go. Right now.
I scrambled for the backpack I had hidden under my floorboards and opened my window as silently as I could. I gasped for air as I stood up on my window ledge, I kept repeating Just don't look down, as I lent forward to grasp the tree with my two hands. I heard footsteps come from outside my door and I took the leap, closed my eyes and hoped for the best. I landed with a thud onto the tree branch and quickly began my descent. Just as I reached the bottom Jason stuck his head out the window
"Come back here this instance you little piece of shit".
I started running, I had no idea where I was running too just as long as it was far away from there I didn't care. This was my time now. My turn to live my life.
I'd been running for hours and had no idea where I was, my phone began to buzz in my pocket. I fumbled around trying to get it out, it was Parker. I stood there unsure if I should answer or not. Before I could make my decision it was too late and the phone lay silent once again. I looked around but I couldn't see anything other than tree's and decided I should set up camp as it was dark. It was lucky I knew how to fend by myself and how to make a fire.
I sat beside my roaring fire just having eaten some of the supplies I kept in my backpack when my phone began to ring, it was Parker, again. I answered cautiously.
"Hello?"
"Aria! Where are you? What happened? Are you okay?"
"Parker, I am fine. I just couldn't take it anymore, I had to get out of there. I had to go"
"It's okay, I understand. Where are you? I'm coming with you."
"Parker no I can'task that of you"
"Like I can say no to an adventure with you"
I caved and told Parker where I was, well my co-ordinates, and before I knew it he was sat next to me in the middle of the woods. I just hoped that it would all go to plan this time. After last time I couldn't go back, I don't think I'd survive it this time.
