Why do you keep running away?

Kellin's POV-

I'm catching a ride with Austin and Tris to Albuquerque, because my band left without me this morning just because I wasn't ready. And now Austin is taking forever and me and Tris are waiting in the living room.
"I love you guys!" Tris said through the phone to PTV. She hung up before Jamie could say anything else. "Tris! Where is it?" Austin asked. "Austin what the hell do you want?!" Tris asked. "Where the fuck is my laptop?!" Austin screamed. Tris laughed "I have it". "I told you not to use it!" she rolled her eyes. "Whatever Aus you know you love me!" she shouted. "You're lucky I'm your brother!" She laughed.
"So Kellin, you know who's birthday is coming up" Tris said quickly looking at her phone. "Tris, I told you so many times, please don't bring her up". "Kellin you don't get it! I miss her and you act like it's nothing." "I miss her too dude, but she's not coming back" I sighed looking at her. I could see her eyes fill with sadness turning away from me. "You know you still love her" she mumbled.

FLASHBACK~
Kellin's POV- 15 years old~

Today's my first day of school at Phoenix Arizona. I recently moved from Oregon with my mom and siblings. And I have no friends mostly because, people say I look gay with my long hair and style. But who the fuck cares?
I looked around while the car ride to the school. Finally we were here. "Bye mum love you" I kissed her cheek. "Ok hun, have fun I have work so I'll be back at home at 5:30 love you" I closed the door looking at the school. I huffed seeing all the kids. Maybe I'll make a new friend today. I walked into the school. "Move" "watch it!" "walk faster gay bitch". I got a lot of mean comments finding my way to the front office. I got my schedule before the first bell rang. "Quiet she's here!" All the boys quickly shushed staring at the front entrance. What were they staring at? All the girls quickly began "ughing" and rolling their eyes.
The front door opened. "Hey let me get that for you!" "Do you want me to take your books?". All these jocks trampled over me getting to the person. I fell on the floor dropping my schedule and notebook and pens. "No guys I'm fine thanks" she pushed her way through the crowd. Oh my god. She's gorgeous. Everything went slow motion. She's just perfect. Her light brown hair was so shiny, her skin was flawless, she had the perfect body. "Oh my god are you ok?" she quickly saw me. She ran to me offering her hand. I gladly took it. She helped me up. She grabbed my book, paper, and pens. "Y-y-yeah" I stuttered. She smiled shaking my hand. "I'm Tierra, you can call me Tia". I was speechless. "Hi Tia, I'm Kellin Bostwick, but I prefer to be called Kellin Quinn". She giggled. "I love your name Kell, Kellin Quinn". Kell. That has a ring to it. "Can I call you Kell?" she asked. "Yeah sure". "Thanks, I'll see you later Kell" she winked. "Hold up! Can you help me?" I asked. "Yeah sure what do you need?" "um, my schedule, do you know where Ms.Jame's class is?" she smiled. "Yeah you have homeroom with me come on we're already late" Tierra said. I nodded following her. I haven't noticed the halls were clear and the first bell already rang. I guess I was distracted.
After home room I had science, reading, math, and art, sadly I only had homeroom and art with Tia. Then lunch. "Come on I'm starving!" Tierra grabbed my hand running to the lunch room. We got out food. "Hmmmmm" Tierra said looking for a table. "Tia over here!" a guy said. She smiled and told me to follow her to the table. We walked to a group of guys and a girl. "Hey Tierra and guy I've never met before" the one with spiky hair said looking at me. "Hey, this is my new friend Kellin" Tia introduced me. "Kellin this is Jaime, my best friend, Vic he sings, Jenna my other BFF, Mike is Vic's brother, Tony, he's quiet, then Austin my brother" she said. "Hey" I said nervously. "Move over fat butt" Tierra pushed Jaime aside. "You love my butt" Jaime said. Tierra sat down and I sat by her. "Shut up" she laughed throwing a French fry in his face. We all quickly became friends. Something about her made me want her. I took her to prom where we had our first kiss. But we just stayed friends.
