To be completely honest, I wanted to impress you so badly that I began to focus on and learn baseball to the same knowledge of your extent.

I took the time to learn all thirty baseball teams and ballparks.
I took the time to learn what 6-4-3 and 4-6-3 double plays were.
I took the time to learn at least one player from every team.
I took the time to learn and become familiar with your favorite players.
