Besitos

It was back in the middle of December when we first met. It started snowing then, how could I ever forget. I was walking down the park I was so cold, I forgot to wear a jacket and my favorite blue colored beanie.I didn't even know the reason why I decided to go stroll outside but I did and at first I hated and mentally cursed myself for doing that but after I reached my destination, the park, and took a sit at the bench, all of that changed. That's when I met you.

I didn't even notice you there, I was too busy cursing myself and complaining being cold. You were just so silent but when I finally look your way and finally took notice of the stranger to my right, I got silent. You were just mindlessly sitting there wearing your coat and your little cute red beanie, without a care, staring from a distance. At first, I thought you were like some sort of a statue or even a mannequin but then I figured, you were too beautiful to not be real. Real in the sense that you're human, moving, feeling and the like, well that's what I wanted to believe you were. Real. I wanted you to be human.

I didn't even now how long I was staring at you, I guess I was just captivated. Time seemed to stop and I found myself being fascinated by you. At this point, I didn't even care if I was staring, you didn't seem to mind nor did you seem to notice. In my mind I was creating a mental picture of you, hey I'm not a weirdo or anything I just thought that you were the most beautiful creature this eyes have ever seen and I kind of wanted to remember that pretty face. But then I guess my confidence was short lived when you started to look my way. You caught me staring.

"Take a picture it'll last longer."

Oh hey you're real! I kind of wanted to smile then, but I refrain myself from doing so cause well, that would be weird.

"Oh sorry I- I was just.. I-I thought you were... I don't know."

You've only said six words to me and you've already got me all flustered up.

You smiled at me. You got a really bright smile.

"It's okay, probably because you haven't seen me here before right?"

"Right." I nod. Let's go with that.

Actually, now that I think about it it is the first time I've seen you and this is a really small town so I kind of know all the faces and some names here but you, you're new, I'm guessing.

"Are you new?" I asked. I was kind of hoping you are.

"Oh. No, I just came here to escape for a little while." You look across. I now noticed you look very distant, even from before.

Escape, you say. What do you need escaping from? Perhaps something is bothering you, maybe a problem? And I thought, maybe I could help and maybe I wanted to. So I didn't think again when I asked you.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" You looked at me again, weird, like I was saying something crazy but I swear I'm not I'm just concerned I guess, but then you stood up preparing to leave.

"I'm sorry, I should probably go now though. It was nice meeting you." You said and practically fled the park, but I didn't stop you. I know I'm not in the position to, I mean, I'm just a stranger to you, a very weird stranger.
