*Vic’s POV*
Breakfast was great. It was very nice of Jess to cook for all of us. We decided to bring Caleb’s crib down so we can all eat at the same time and watch him. Quinnie seems to be really enjoying her waffles. We ate at the second living room, the one with the nice view of the lake and watched TV. I take a look around. Everyone looks fresh and seemed like they’ve had enough sleep, except for me of course.

Tony has Erin on his lap, eating vegetarian waffles. Mike is devouring everything on the table. He’s sitting next to Alysha who insisted on having just coffee this morning. Jaime is arguing with Tony about the football game we’re watching while eating his favorite cereal.

And then I looked at Jenna, who’s wrapped in a blanket. She’s busy doing something on her phone, her unfinished breakfast sat on the table. I scooted closer to her and kissed her left shoulder. I noticed she’s been scratching her right shoulder the whole time. And so I asked, “You okay?”

“No. My shoulder’s itching.” She said, her attention still on her phone. “Ey Preciado! Did you wash really wash your hands?”

“Wh—Yeah!” Jaime said.

“Let me see.” I said scooting even closer so I’m on her back. I gently removed the upper part of her robe to reveal her gorgeous back. “Yeah, there’s a light rash here.” I said moving my index finger in a circular motion against her skin. “I’ll get your medicine. Where did you put it?”
“Second drawer in the bathroom. Thanks.” She said smiling at me.

“I’ll come with you!” Mike said standing up.

“What? I’m very sure can do this on my own little brother.” I said. What is up with Mike?

“Oh. Okay then.” He said and then sat down.

I marched upstairs to get Jenna’s bottle of antihistamines. I remember the time she had to double doze these in order for her to be okay. I’m glad she’s doing better now. Her eating disorder destroyed her intestines so bad. If I had been in her life back then, I would’ve taken care of her. So now I’m doing my best to do that.

I went back downstairs and gave Jenna the bottle. This time, Jaime had already dominated the discussion. They’re talking about the trip to Luna Park. I sat next to Jenna and put and arm around her.

“I swear, I’m really going to make that Big Dipper ride my bitch!” He bragged.

“Oh really, I heard about the water slide incident when you guys were in Kansas.” Jess said.
“What water slide?”

“Yeah the water slide back in Kansas!” Tony said, recalling the incident. Jaime had peed all over our raft because he was so scared.

“Was that Verr— what was that?”

"Vffferack fottershlide" Mike mumbled. We couldn't understand him because his mouth was full. He then spoke, "Verruct Waterslide, Shiltterban Waterpark"

"Riiiight. Yeah I remember." I said standing up.

"Oh my god, that was one time!" Jaime exclaimed.

"What was that?" Jenna asked

“You know that time Hime Time got really scared. That was really funny. He peed—“

“On the water raft?” Jenna asked.

“Yeah!”

“Oh yeah, you told me that one! I remember.” She said taking another bite.

“And then you told me.” Jess said pointing to Jenna.

“Erin, who told you?” Jenna asked.

“I think Jess did. Or maybe Alex.”

“Alex?! Alex Gaskarth?! How--?! Everyone knew--? You guys! You promised you won’t tell anyone!” Hime said.

“Well, you didn’t shake on it.” I said and then everyone burst into laughter.

“I never said anything, bro.” Tony said.

“So what time are we going?” Jenna asked.

“Uh right now? After we eat?”

“Sounds great”

*Jenna’s POV*
The weather outside’s not hot so we decided to bring our newborn with us.

Plus it could be a really good thing if we bring the whole family. I feel guilty leaving him to my mom. Even though we have really busy schedules and half of our lives are spent on the road, I’d want our kids to spend some quality time with us. I just wanna make the most out of this, before we go back to San Diego.

We sat on the car as we made our way to our destination. I felt Vic’s hand ran up my arm.
“Hey, the doctor said…”

“Yeah, I know. I already promised didn’t I? I just really wanna take the kids.” I replied.
He nodded in response.

“Hey stop worrying about me. I’m fine.” I smiled at him. Then I felt my phone vibrate.
Timothy Murdock. Ugh what does he want now? I can’t afford another fight with Vic so I just dropped the call.

“Who’s that?” He asked.

“Tim. I’ll just ignore that.” I said. He scratched the back of his head and looked away. “Hey.”
“Yeah? It’s fine. Okay.”

A few minutes more we arrived at our destination. There is a huge face that’s at least 30 feet high on the entrance. This park’s been around for decades. The face has been remodeled and changed year after year. I believe this is the eighth face. It was built in around 1994. I was two but I still remember the day they decided to remodel the face.

“Woah. That face is creepy.” Jaime spoke.

“Uh oh Hime is already scared. Jess, please take him to the comfort room before we ride the rides. We don’t want the same incident to happen again now, don’t we?” Vic teased.

“What incident?” Whakaio asked.

“You know the…” Vic made a gesture in his hands and then widened his eyes at Whak.

“OOOHH!! Yeah! He peed..” Whak said.

And then everybody laughed as Hime folded his arms and pouted like a kid.

“Can we forget about that? You guys can’t tease me about it forever.” He said.

“Exactly, we’ll forget about it. But for now, we feast! Mwahahaha!” Cameron teased and spread his arms as he made the evil laugh.

Everyone continued to tease Jaime until we got out of the car. I made sure we had everything Caleb and Quinn would need before we entered. Of course there were usual stares from the people. But no one dared to approach us yet.

Five minutes of strolling and Q already asked for a cotton candy. Mike and Alysha and all the other guys are busy checking out the rides so I had to take her.

“Momma, why do they keep on teasing Uncle Hime? Is teasing bad?” She asked as we waited for the cotton candy.

I squeezed her hand. I noticed her untied shoelace and fixed it for her. “Uh yeah, teasing can be bad. But you know your daddy and Uncle Jaime, they treat each other like brothers. They just like to tease each other like that but, you know it’s different when you do it with other people. They might get hurt.”

“Oooh. Okay.”

We got the cotton candy and then we went back to where they were.

“Jen, I told them we should ride The Big Dipper.” Matt said enthusiastically.

“Wow. Are you all gonna go?” I asked.

“Yeah, sure.”

“Even Jaime?” I point at Jaime, who looks so pale and is sweating. “Dude, it’s like 17 degrees why are you sweating?”

“Me? No. I’m not. This is just…uh…”

Everyone seemed to be enjoying teasing Hime, including Jessica, so I might as well join the fun.
“Did you know the legend of the Big dipper?” I said.

“Jen, what is it?” Tony asked.

“It was 1932. On New Year’s Eve, they said there was a woman who died on the ride. They said she was improperly seated and wasn’t holding on. Allegations of intoxication and mechanical failure were made. But the investigations said that the woman, who fell on the ride and died the next day….committed suicide.”

This time Jaime looked as if he’s seen a ghost. He’s almost shaking.

“Fourteen years later, another man from New Caledonia died. He disobeyed safety instructions by sitting on the edge of a train car, and was thrown from the ride on one of the corners and into a support pole.” Jake added putting an arm to a very pale Jaime.

“But those are just legends, right?” Jaime asked.

“We’ll never know.” Jake said.

“I’ll be careful, man.” Matt tapped his shoulders. “I’ll be following all the rules.”

“Come on. Let’s check it out! Too late to back out Hime Time!” Vic said as he led everyone to the ride.

There was no line and everyone weight straight inside the barricades. Vic looks so thrilled. But no one is as thrilled as Matt. He’s just jumping from excitement. Unlike Jaime, who is barely waking and is just getting dragged by his girlfriend.

“Nice one, Preciado!” I shouted.

“Hi!” Vic mouthed. I can’t help but take a short video of them and upload it on snapchat. My man looks like he’s actually enjoying and healing.

“We’re gonna wait for you guys.” I mouthed back. And then I looked at Quinn, who is still enjoying her strawberry flavored cotton candy. I checked on Caleb and he’s still sleeping so comfortably on his stroller.

I watched as they all took their places on the coaster. Vic and Matt sat up front, ver brave souls. Then Tony and Erin, followed by Whak and Jake. And then Cam sat alone on the next seat, followed by Mike and Alysha. Jaime insisted on sitting on the back, much to Jessica’s dismay.

“Don’t swallow anything funny up there!” I yelled once again.

The coaster started to move and I took another video of them. Vic is yelling out of excitement. I hope he doesn’t damage his vocal chords. And then a group of girls approached me. This is probably not the best time for this.

“Jenna? Hi!” The green haired one said.

“Hi!” I waved at them and gave them a smile. They are all giggling and whispering something to each other.

“What are you doing here? Didn’t you just got out of the hospital?” The short haired girl wearing a tank top asked.

“Well we are all taking a vacation. It’s nice to be back. I’m just spending some time with the fam. I’m not going on rides, I just wanna take my kids. This is my daughter.” I said and then Quinn waved at them.

“Hi! I’m Quinn. What’s your name?”

“Hi, Quinn. I’m Casey, and this is Alex, Gabbi, and Haley.”

“Hayley? Like my mom’s friend Hayley?” She asked.

“Yeah.” They said laughing. They all know who she was referring to.

“Is that your son? Can we see him?” They asked.

“Well, he’s asleep right now. But yeah, here he is. “And they all stooped down to see Caleb.

“He’s so cute.”

“I would really like to talk to you guys longer but as you can see I’m a bit preoccupied at the moment. I’m so sorry.” I apologized to them.

“That’s okay. We understand. We just wanna come say hi and you have helped us so much. You inspired each and every one of us. And your family is beautiful. We hope you’d get back to performing soon. We’ve missed you out there.” Casey said.

“Aw thank you guys. But I don’t know when I’ll be back. I’m just really taking time to heal and everything but yeah.” And that reminded me of the decision I still have to make. But then I remembered Q’s comment. She’s a genius. If there is someone that I should talk to about these things, it’s Hayley Williams. Her band’s history is also like a roller coaster ride.

I should definitely give her a call soon.
