The beach is for lovers, not lonely losers.

"I'd love that, yeah" she responded, before walking in.

I watched her take a seat and I reached my classroom.

Drew's point of view.

Lunch time arrived rather soon, I had met a few people and one of them had offered me to take me to the cafeteria. His name was Matthew and well he was my age,he had this nice dark blond mohawk and those light blue eyes, probably what made him so irresistible. He was wearing a dark jeans with a black basic shirt and a black leather jacket, and Rangers. As we walked down the hallway, we stopped at my locker, so I could put away my books. We then keft walking towards the cafeteria, while talking about music, mostly Green Day. But the conversation was cut off as we arrived in the big cafeteria. I followed him to get food and he went to seat with a group of people. I turned to face the whole cafeteria, searching my brother, hoping he was there. I found him, sitting with everybody, in a corner near the entrance, I crossed the cafeteria, to join them. The high school was huge, there were so many student, the cafeteria was full. I arrived to the table, and Vic and Jaime moved to let me sit between Fil and Vic. They were all discussing about their first morning back at school. It was funny to see how well my brother was integrated in this little group. I liked seeing my brother happy. He never had uch friends, and well in less than 24 hours he might already have 4 new friends. They all turned to me and started asking me questions but I was lost in my thoughts and couldn't seem to get.

"Earth to Drew!" My brother finally said, while agitating his hand in front of my eyes to get my attention.

"Hm?" I said, turning to him, and coming back to reality.

"How was your first morning ?" Tony asked

"Well since it was my first day of school ever, I can't really say, but I guess it went pretty well" I smiled.

A few moments later, Matthew came to talk to me.

"We have P.E together this afternoon, so whenever you're ready, meet me outside okay? He said

"Okay, see you later, Matthew! And thank's!" I responded happily.

"No problem!" He added, before walking away to join a girl who seemed to be his girlfriend and a couple of other guys.

I watched him leave and turned back to the guys.

"So, you're interested in Matthew?"Vic asked, with a weird smile.

I couldn't tell if he was being serious or just teasing me.

"What ? NO I just met him this morning! That would be weird ! Right?" I said, panicking a little. I could tell they were not taking me seriously, they did not believed a word I said, because I had lost my temper.

"See you later Matthew" My brother said, trying to sound like me.

"Hey! "I hit his arm. "I don't sound like that... Do I ?" I anwered, looking at the boys. But only my brother nodded.

"Oh shut up!" I got up, taking my tray, to put it away, but Mike stopped me.

"Wait!" He said, a little louder to get my attention. "Tonight, we're all hanging out, wanna join?"He continued!

"Well, I don't know, I'm still tired, and I don't want my dad alone!"

"She want to tell her diary about Matthew, we can't disturb her!" My brother said, making everyone laugh.

"Haha, really funny!" I said sarcastically.

"Your brother told us that your dad was not going to be home tonight, and he might no even be home for the rest of the week, so what's your excuse now?" Vic said with a big smile on his face.

"Just so you know, this offer was not really an offer!, you're coming with us, wether you like or not!" Mike declared.

"I don't have a choice! You should've said it before! "I said laughing a little "See you later!"
I walked toward the only way out, leaving my tray where it was supposed to be, and made my way towards the stadium. I saw Matthew away, sitting on the bleachers. As I approched, I could see that he was still with the same three people I had seen earlier in the cafeteria. I climbed my way up and sat next to an unknow guy.

"Hey! Guys this is Drew, " he started, introducing me to his friends, "Drew, this is Aaron" he said pointing at the guy next to me, "This is Kellin," He said mentioning the other guy, "And my girlfriend, Gema,"

"Nice to meet you guys!" I simply said, they told me they felt the same about me.

I didn't really had the time to socialyze because it was almost the end of the break and we had to get changed into our P.E outfit, which consisted in short and tshirt with school logo.
When the bell rang, everyone was waiting for the teacher on the stadium. The groups were not mixed gender, it was weird for me. The teacher arrived moments later and explained that the girls were going to do soccer today. I loved soccer, I've been playing soccer ever since I was a kid, and I played with my dd and brother everytime I had a chance, so you understand that I was going to rock during this period.

3 P.M

I had received a text from Vic telling me they'd be waiting for me at the car, so assoon as I had finished with P.E, I took changed into my clothes and joined them at the car, they were all there already.
