dry your tears, fake a smile.

I woke up frantically gasping for air.

"melodee!" I blurted out recklessly. My vision unblurred, and to my surprise, i didn't wake up to an angry mike or concerned vic, i was in the floor surrounded by the guys, melissa, cassie, and the nurse that had given us... the news.

I immediately felt my cheeks wet. I had been crying during the time i was knocked out. i rapidly felt slightly embarrased and wiped tem off. Seeing that we were at the hospital, i sprang up from the cold floor and ran towards the hospital rooms, making sure i checked each one completely. I stopped running, regaining air and realized that i was right infront of the room that mel was in. I felt my heart sink and shatter into a million unrepairable pieces..I couldn't get my feet to move out of position, for my feet felt like i had boulders chained to them. I took a deep breath and took the remaining steps towards the window door. I took a peek into the door, seeing an elderly connected to what seemed like hundreds of beeping machines. I suddenly felt the need to scream, screan until my lungs begged for the oxygen they dearly need...there is a possibility that she might be alive...but i still won't get my hopes up high in case....
