Prologue

-April 20th, 2002- -4 days old-
Tony was in the kitchen, preparing bottles for the tiny baby, who was sound asleep in the crib in the front room, when suddenly little wails were heard. Tony sighed, grabbed a bottle and walked to the living room.He approaches the small bassinet and looked down at the child.
"Hey Selly."
He cooed to the child. The baby girl stopped crying and looked up. She kicked her legs and as her tummy began rumbling, she cried again.
"Are you hungry, Selena?"
Tony picked her up and cradled her in his arms. He didn't really expect an answer from the newborn.
It's been 4 days since Selena was born. It was the most scariest and exciting moments of Tony's and Mikes life. That early morning, Tony woke up to massive pains and they weren't even contractions. When Mike woke up, he immediately drove Tony to the hospital. The doctors performed an ultrasound and discovered the baby was sideways in the womb. An emergency c-section was scheduled as soon as possible when her heart rate dropped drastically. Selena was a healthy, happy baby despite being born nearly a month early.
Tony smiled as he watched her eat from the baby bottle covered in various small objects and butterflies. Tony smiled, kissing her head.
"I love you my beautiful baby girl." -July 23, 2009-

"Daddy, I want to keep the puppy!"
Mike sighed and looked at his daughter. Selena held a tiny puppy she found hidden under a bush in the yard.
"Selena, what would mommy think? What if the puppy is waiting for her mommy and daddy? The mommy and daddy dogs would be very upset if she is inside with us."
Mike tried reasoning with her. She looked up at him with big brown eyes, filled with tears.
"We can keep her and clean her and feed her until the mommy and daddy puppies come back and then we will feed and clean them and we can take them to the puppy house."
Selena held the small animal close to her. Mike sighed and stood up. He just couldn't say no to her, especially when she's on the verge of tears.
"Fine but only until the mommy and daddy dogs come back."
He said. She squealed and ran inside.
"Mommy we need puppy food! Puppy needs a bath!"
Mike chuckled and walked inside only to be given a questionable look from his husband.
"Its only for a little bit."
Needless to say, the Fuentes-Perry household was filled with 3 puppies and two large dogs by the end of the month.

-13 years old-
As Mike and Tony walked into their eldest daughter's normally clean room, they both noticed all the papers everywhere. Design sketches and lyrics, all crumpled up and thrown onto the floor, along with a few snack wrappers.
"I feel like she's being pushed too hard."
Tony said, picking up one of the papers. It was a sketching for a new outfit but it was scribbled over.
"Oh c'mon I think this is perfect for her. She's in the music business, just like us."
Mike smiled and picked up the papers.
"Shes stressing out horribly and shes only 13. Shes supposed to be care free and having fun like any other teenager. She needs a break." Tony said. The two cleaned up the mess, putting the papers in a near pile on the desk and throwing away the wrappers.
"I'll talk to the record company and her manager about this."
Mike replied as he sat on the bed. Tony smiled and sat on his husbands lap.
"Mommy, daddy! C'mon! Uncle Vic and Uncle Kellin are outside!"
The two looked up to see their youngest child, Jason, dressed up as a star trooper. Selena smiled, following behind him, dressed up in a sparkly dress. She was a fairy princess, to make her little sister, Suzie happy.
"Yeah come on! Lets go trick-or-treating!"
Selena replied, giggling. Mike and Tony smiled and stood up.
"Alright, let us get ready and we'll meet you at the park."
Mike said. The little boy smiled and dragged his big sister outside with him, followed by Suzie and Ace.
Selena could only smile as the group walked to the park, wishing this small break would last forever.
