Misadventures

Surprise! Surprise!

Carolina's POV
I woke up the next morning extremely nauseous thinking about the sushi, wanting some mango juice, then thinking about the sushi and the mango juice, I ran to the bathroom and threw up.
“Carolina?” Tony said as he walked in.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
I flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth, when I got the realization, the realization that comes only once in a while, and I know that feeling. I must be pregnant.
“Tony, take me to the grocery store.” I said.
“Why?” He asked.
“We're getting a pregnancy test.” I said.
“O-okay.” He said.
We got ready and bought an at home pregnancy test and some mango juice, because it was just that good, and when we got back to the hut I did the test. Tony was in the room while we got the results.
“Positive!” I said. “We're gonna be parents!”
“Let's hope everything goes as planned.” He said.
Remembering what happened last time, it made me worry, but hope even harder that this baby inside me got a chance.
“Yeah.” I said.
“We should go back home, so you could see your doctors.” Tony said.
I hugged him and started packing. He asked me if I was okay.
“Yeah, just a little worried.” I told him.
“Because of what happened last time?” He asked.
“Yeah.” I replied, starting to cry.
He went up to me and hugged me and held onto him tight.
“It'll be alright.” He told me.
“How do you know?” I asked him.
There was no way he could be sure.
“I have a feeling.” He replied.
I hugged him again and wiped away my tears and we continued packing. That night we headed our way to San Diego. When we were on the plane Tony called the guys.
“Hey guys, we're headed back home.” He said.
“Yeah Carolina's-” He looked at me, and I shook my head.
“Carolina's not feeling well.” He said.
We got back home early in the morning and I slept the whole flight, I'm pretty sure Tony did too. When we got to Tony's place he unlocked the door.
“Oh, threshold.” I said.
He laughed.
“Oh, yeah. How could I forget?” He said, picking me up and carrying me over the threshold, once again.
“Thank you, kind sir.” I said. “We should probably call the guys, tell them what's going on.”
Tony agreed and called them, and they came over withing a twenty minutes.
“Hey, so you're not feeling good, Carolina?” Vic asked.
“Actually, I'm pregnant.” I said.
They were all silent for a moment, then burst out laughing. Tony and I stood still and remained calm, and the guys stopped laughing.
“Wait, you're serious?” Vic asked.
“Yes!” I said.
You could tell all the guys felt pretty guilty.
“We're sorry, guys.” Jaime said. “We didn't mean to laugh like that.”
“We accept your apology.” Tony said.
“Yeah, we do.” I said.
The guys gave Tony and I a hug and wished us the best. Tony and I went to our doctor's appointments and for eight months the baby and I were okay, we just had to keep it that way.

Tony's POV
I woke up to the sound of Carolina throwing up, so I went to check on her.
“Carolina, are you okay?” I asked her.
She flushed the toilet and brushed her teeth, and told me to drive her to the grocery store. What did we need there?
“Why?” I asked.
She said we were going to get a pregnancy test. Now that I think about it, she did have some signs of being pregnant. Being dizzy and nauseous.
“O-okay.” I said.
We got a van to ride us to the grocery store. When Carolina and I were in there she got an at home pregnancy test along with some mango juice. We got a ride back to the hut and Carolina did the test and I was in the room with her when we got the results. Positive. She was so excited, and so was I.
“Let's hope everything goes as planned.” I said.
Thinking about it now, I probably shouldn't have said that.
“We should go back home, so you could see your doctors.” I said.
“Yeah.” She said.
She went into the room and started packing, and was pretty quiet.
“Are you okay?” I asked her.
“Yeah.” She said. “Just a little worried.”
“Because of what happened last time?” I asked.
She started to cry when she said yes. I went up to her and hugged her and she held onto me like there was no tomorrow. I told her it would be okay.
“How do you know.” She asked me.
To be honest I didn't know for sure, but I had a feeling this time it was going to be okay.
“I have a feeling.” I told her.
She hugged me, wiping her tears away, then continuing to pack. I started getting my stuff together, too. That night we were on a plane to San Diego and I decided to call the guys, I wanted to tell them the news but Carolina shook her head 'no', so I told them she was sick. After I hung up I fell asleep and slept almost the whole flight, I woke up an hour before we landed. When we got to my place Carolina reminded me to carry her over the threshold.
“Oh, yeah. How could I forget?” I said, picking her up and carrying her over the threshold, again.
She thanked me, and suggested we call the guys, I agreed and I called them. When they all came over Carolina told them the news and they laughed. Carolina and I stayed calm and were just standing there when the guys stopped laughing, that's when they knew we were serious.
“We're sorry, guys. We didn't mean to laugh like that.” Jaime said.
“We accept your apology.” I said.
I said the wrong thing again, I should have said 'I accept your apology' not 'We'. Until Carolina said she accepted his apology too, I felt a little better. The guys gave both Carolina and I hugs.
“Good luck on this one.” Vic said.
“Thanks, man.” I said.

I took Carolina to her doctors appointments for eight months and she was getting closer to her due date, which was September, I just hoped everything would stay okay with Carolina and the baby.
