Misadventures

I'm a Chemical Kid

Carolina's POV
“Carolina, will you marry me?” Tony asked me.
I couldn't believe this. This was happening, to me, with him, to us, after everything.
“Yes!” I said. “I million times, yes!”
I started to cry tears of joy when he put the ring on my finger and I was shaking super bad. I ran into the front room and told Jaime.
“We're getting married!” I told him, realizing I was in my pajamas, but I didn't care.
“What? That's great!” Jaime said.
I showed him my ring and he hugged me and I ran back to the bedroom with Tony.
“I love you so much!” I said.
“I love you too.” Tony replied.
“Okay, starting tomorrow, I call everyone about wedding planning.” I told him.
“Everyone?” He asked.
“Yeah, like a wedding planner, who will probably suggest a choreographer, and a florist, all that good stuff, oh, and we have to agree on what type of food we want there.” I said.
We both looked at each other.
“Mexican.” We both said at the same time, making both of us laugh.
The next morning I saw that Jaime passed out on the couch, and I laughed, then started making my calls. I didn't know where to start, so I started by getting a wedding planner, she said to start with the dress and the venue. I gave Tony a to do list, the venue was on it. After that call was over I called a local wedding dress shop, and they had an appointment for later today.
“Do you have anybody coming with you?” The lady on the phone asked.
“Um-” I knew I couldn't take Tony, bad luck if he saw the dress. I looked at Jaime and threw a pillow at him.
“Huh? What? What is it?” He asked.
I covered the phone microphone with my hand.
“Can you come with me to look at wedding dresses.” I asked.
“Yeah, of course.” He replied.
I took my hand of the microphone.
“Yes, I'll be taking someone.” I told her.
Later that day Jaime and I went to the wedding shop and I looked at the dressed I thought would look good on me, and Jaime was nice enough to give me his honest opinion. After about two hours we found the perfect dress. An A-Line wedding dress with lace and three quarter sleeves that was off shoulder.
“It looks great.” Jaime told me.
“Thanks.” I replied, starting to cry.
He came up to me and hugged me.
“This is going to be the best day of your life. And mine, there's going to be cake and Mexican food.” He said.
I laughed, wiping away my tears of joy. We ordered the dress and I went back to Tony's place, what was now our place I guess, Jaime went back to his place.
I saw that Tony sent me some pins on Pinterest for some venues, the ones in Scotland looked really pretty, even though he was in the other room, I messaged him that's where I wanted it to be, and he agreed.
I called Shelby.
“Hey, I was starting to think you forgot about me.” She said.
“No, it's not that at all.” I said. “It's just being shot and all.”
“Yeah, how are you feeling? Are you doing better?” She asked me.
“Much better! Tony proposed to me!” I told her.
We ended up talking for a while and she offered to be my bridesmaid.
“Oh, yeah!” I said. “Can you be my maid of honor, too? You're kind of the only other woman I know.”
She laughed.
“Of course.” She replied.

**Time Skip**

It was a day before the wedding and I was ready! We checked to make sure everything was okay which it was, and we all headed to our venue. I just had to get my beauty rest.
“Good night, future husband.” I told Tony.
“Good night, future wife.” He told me.

Tony's POV
“Carolina, will you marry me?” I asked her.
She looked at the ring in awe, then looked at me.
“Yes! A million times yes!” She said.
She started crying as I put the ring on her finger, she was so excited she ran and told Jaime in her pajamas. When she came back in she started talking about wedding planning.
“This early?” I thought to myself.
I just proposed, but they say a wedding is the day a girl dreams of. She knew exactly what was needed, a wedding planner and what the wedding planner might suggest.
“Oh, and we have to agree on what type of food we want there.” She said.
We both looked at each other, knowing the answer was obvious.
“Mexican.” We both said at the same time, laughing afterwards.
The next morning Carolina had already started making her calls, and she made me a list of stuff to do too. 'Find a Venue'. That seems easy enough, but we would have to agree on it, she would want something either near the beach or in a castle like place, medieval stuff. I sent her some ideas through Pinterest, we found a venue that we agreed on in Scotland, I somehow knew she would go for the countryside.
“We're going all out.” I said out-loud.
But for her, it was worth it.
A few hours went by and Carolina came back and called Shelby to tell her the good news. I couldn't blame her, so I called Mike and Vic and told them, and they were pretty excited too.
“She's going to be part of the family now!” Mike said.
I laughed.
“Yeah, she is.” I replied.
“Well I have to go, Carolina's coming back in.” I said.
I hung up and Carolina told me Shelby would be her bridesmaid and her maid of honer. I was okay with that, she was the only friend Carolina had.

**Time Skip**
It was the day before the wedding and Carolina and I had to make sure everything was in order, the flowers, the seating arrangement, everything. Everything was perfect, with the plan, we headed for our flight to Scotland that night.
“Goodnight, future husband.” She said.

“Goodnight, future wife.” I replied.
