If This Was a Movie, I'd be Dead by Now

As soon as I walked into school the day just got worse.
"Hey look, the freaks back" someone shouted. I never expected what happened after that to happen. Jaime lunged at the girl who said it.
"Don't you call her that you whore" Jaime yelled at the girl. She was one of Amber's minions, great.
"Jaime stop" I called "It's not worth it" Jaime just ignored me. I tried to run to him and stop him from hurting anyone but a pair of arms wrapped around my arms. I screamed and flailed not sure who was holding me.
"Calm down, it's just me," a familiar voice said. I looked up to see Tony looking at me.
"Let me go" I pouted.
"No, I'm not letting you get into that mess," he said pointing at what was now a giant blob of people hitting each other. That's when I realized Mike was gone and I saw Vic bent over someone.
"TONY" I panicked "Mike"
"What?" he said, then followed my gaze "Oh my god"
I ran over to Mike's side. His face was covered in blood. I thought I was going to pass out it was that bad. I saw a teacher standing by the group yelling at people to stop fighting. It was kind of working. I ran over to her and grabbed her sleeve. I pulled her over to Mike despite her constant protests. Now Tony was over with Mike as well. The started talking to the teacher but I got distracted.
Then I saw someone in the group of people collapse. I wasn't sure who it was but I didn't care. I ran into the group and dragged the person out. It wasn't until I was out that I realized it was Jaime. His left arm had a bone sticking out of it right by the elbow, his nose was broken, and he had a black eye. This was all my fault.
Now the principle was here and was breaking up the huge fight. The vice principle was also here came up to me.
"What happened to him," he asked pointing at Jaime whose head I had rested on my lap and put my arms around.
"I'm not sure, I just saw him collapse and I ran in to pull him out," I said between sobs.
"Are you sure that's all," he asked and all I could do was nod.
I sat there with him in my arms for about ten minutes before I heard sirens nearing the school. Not long after that paramedics were running into the school. One ran over to me.
"Honey, I'm going to have to take him. He needs to go to the hospital" she said in a very kind voice.
"I'm coming with him. It's my fault he got into this mess." I sobbed.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" she asked.
"Yes, I hate hospitals but I'll go for him" I started sobbing harder.
"Okay," she said. She picked him up and put him on a stretcher. I walked next to her outside and to one of the ambulances. I got in and sat on a bench next to where the stretcher goes. I played with his hair mindlessly the whole ride to the hospital. When we got there they said that I would have to wait in the waiting room until the surgery was done.
I walked into the waiting room and sat down. Why did all of this have to happen? It's all my fault and now Jaime is hurt. Why did he care so much that she called me a freak? I mean it is the truth. I am a freak. With that I drifted off to sleep.

Sorry its a short chapter and it took me so long to update. I've been really busy with school lately.
