The Curse

Chapter 37: "I've Waited My Whole Life For You"

"Lo-gan! Ri-lee! Lo-gan! Ri-lee!" I smiled as the massive San Diego crowd chanted the names of me and Vic's now ten month old babies.

I grinned at him. They were currently in a back dressing room with sound proof walls to protect their little ears, and they were hanging out with our now really good friends Katelynn, Kellin, and Copeland Quinn. They babysat the twins while we performed, and I didn't know what the future of the band would be like if it weren't for Katelynn.

It's been ten months since they were born, and they were amazing. All of the guys helped us name them; we wanted to name them after people we loved but there were too many people to choose from. Logan Michael Fuentes and Riley Victoria Fuentes. We decided to keep the middle names related to the Fuentes' family names; they just worked.

"Guys, she's going to go into protective mother bear mode if we bring them out, so make sure to use your inside voices," Vic said into the microphone, winking at the crowd.

A chorus of 'shushes' came from the crowd. They were so cute, the fans.

"Alright, alright," I giggled. "We'll be right back!" Vic and I darted off the stage. Before we walked into the room, Vic quickly pinned me against the wall.

"I love you, best friend and wife," he grinned, kissing me hard.

"I love you, too, best friend and husband," I giggled, kissing him back. The words felt weird, but also right, on my tongue.

Yes, we were married. When the twins were six months old, and when I was fully recovered from my emergency c-section, and when Vic and I figured things out at home, and right before we released our new record and went on tour, we finally got married.

It was beautiful, simple, and magical. Jaime gave me away to Vic, while Tony held Riley and Mike held Logan.

Parker and Jess were bridesmaids, while the other guys were obviously best men. It was short and not too extravagant, but I wouldn't have wanted it to be any other way. The tour was our honeymoon; it was a world tour. I wouldn't want anything else than to play music with my best friends and love of my life. It was perfect. Everything was perfect

I sighed when Vic kissed me again, imagining us at the alter again, kissing like today was the last day we'd ever have together.

I pulled away at last, but reluctantly. "Come on, beautiful, let's get our kids," he smiled broadly, and then we entered the room.

"Say hi, mommy! Say hi, daddy" Katelynn and Kellin cooed, each of them with at least one baby in their lap. Katelynn held Copeland, too.

"TONY!" Riley screeched, kicking her legs and giggling.

"MIKEY!" Logan giggled.

I rolled my eyes playfully. They spoke a little bit, but it was usually Mike or Tony's names. I didn't get it, but it was adorable as hell.

"Come here, hooligans," I giggled and raced over to Riley, picking her up. Vic took Logan, and we mouthed thank you and blew our wonderful babysitters each a kiss before returning to stage.

We stood on the side for a moment and got Jaime's attention, putting a finger to our lips.

"Alright, guys, here they come," Jaime said into his microphone. The crowd hushed.

We slowly walked to the stage, holding our children delicately and standing close together. We stood at Vic's microphone, sharing it.

"Say, hi," we cooed to them, and the crowd squealed happily and quietly.

"Mikey," Logan giggled again.

"That's my boy!" Mike called out from behind his drum set.

"TONY!" Riley screeched again. The crowd laughed as I handed her to Tony and as Vic handed Logan to Mike.

"They like them better than us," Vic and I said, fake-pouting to the crowd.

"I feel left out," Jaime frowned as well. I giggled and swung an arm around his shoulder. "Join the club," I muttered, smiling, though.

Mike and Tony gave Vic and I the twins back. They were giggling and screeching and flailing their arms around.

There was a lure of silence, aside from the snapping of pictures and the activity of the twins. Then, a fan spoke up.

"Beautiful family!" She yelled.

I grinned. I looked at Jaime, then Tony, then Mike, and, at last, Vic. My family. All of them. Vic's eyes were warm and full of joy, and then I kissed him lightly.

I kissed the heads of Riley and Logan, thinking to myself: /Yes, we were a beautiful family.

I have finally figured out where I belonged. I have finally found my place in the world.

Notes

Hi every one! First off, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the suggestions... They were all so creative and great! But I fell in love with Logan and I've always loved the name Riley. It's just so cute. But thanks a lot to everyone else!!

So, obviously the two week vacation hasn't really created a problem for updates haha

anyway, this story is sadly coming to an end. Actually, this may be the LAST CHAPTER! This may be the official end! HOWEVER, despite the fact that I closed the chapter in a way that closes the story, if y'all have any suggestions or things you want to see I would gladly consider them! But it has to end one day:( I'd like to focus on my other story anyway and a potential new one too!

So thoughts????
