‘Okay, so everyone is in a band? Like Vic and Jamie are in a band together, my own mother was in a band and your dad was in a band. I know so many famous people!’ I said to Sarah who was now sat on the bed with me. Both of our legs crossed as if we were sharing secrets at the age of 14.

'What music do I like?’ I said as her mouth dropped opened.

‘You serious? Oh yeah, uh I’m not the brightest. But here, this is your favourite song and Jaime played it every day he came into see you while you were asleep.’ She said pulling out her phone. She handed me a pair of head phones and I placed them into my ears. She pressed play.

Almost instantly, I could feel myself singing along with the words. I looked up at Sarah as she smiled back to me, singing the words. I pulled the headphones out the phone as the song played through the room.

‘Okay so this is a band called Neck Deep. The song is called "A Part of Me" and well, it is yours and Jaime’s song.’ She explained.

‘Oh my god. This is an amazing song. I see why I like it.’ I said, smiling at the phone. ‘So, what happened when we went on tour?’ I continued as I paused the song.

‘Okay, I feel like I should wait til Jaime and Vic get here. But I’ll explain what happened before we left for tour. Like how we told the guys we were leaving for two years and that our parents where famous…’ Sarah said.

*Back to past*

‘I’ll be coming on tour with you, mum and Austin. I’m like a body guard over you two or something as well as Winter. It’ll be exciting. It’s been like 4 months since I’ve seen you. I miss you.’ Nathan explained as he looked at me through a computer screen.

‘I miss you too and you must be blind cause, mate I’m right here. You can see me.’ I replied, poking my tongue out.

‘You know what I mean missy. Well I’ve got to go to work now. And you need to go see Jaime.’ Nathan explained.

‘Yeah, alright. Stay safe and I’ll see you in like a month! Bye.’ I said, waited for Nathan to reply and when he did, I logged off skype and closed my laptop.

I rolled off my bed and stood up, I grabbed a jumper and walked out my room. I walked into the lounge to see Vic and Sarah watching TV.

‘When the fuck did you enter my house and why have you just decided to snuggle on my couch?’ I said sitting on the single chair.

‘Well, you were still talking to Nathan when I came over so your dad let us in. He said him and Hannah were going out for lunch.’ Sarah explained, looking from the TV to me.

‘Oh very fucking nice of them to fucking tell me. Ugh, he spends so much time with her now that she’s here. I feel as if I don’t see my dad anymore. And now that in a month, we’re going to be leaving for two years, he might have his own little boy or girl with Hannah.’ I explained.

‘Why are you leaving for two years, that’s a fucking long time?’ Vic said, now sitting up in a proper way, making Sarah move.

‘I guess we should tell you, but I think we should get everyone over, now that dad isn’t here.’ I said, looking to Sarah. She nodded her head and I sent a group text.

One by one they all started arriving, Tony and Brendon were the first to arrive, Pete and Patrick, Mike and then Jamie. We both stood in front of the guys who were sitting on the couch.

‘Alright, how do we start… ugh, okay so you know how we went to Australia, well, okay…? You know the band Of Mice and Men right? And Tonight Alive?’ I said.

‘Obviously, Jaime and I are going to their concert. And I’m pretty sure everyone in this room likes them. And yeah Tonight Alive are Australian, and Jenna is married to Austin. Everyone knows that.’ Vic said, frowning a little in confusion.

‘Well, technically it's mum married…’ I said looking to Sarah.

‘Dad. Jenna married my dad.’ She said.

‘And Austin married my mum.’ I explained.

‘HOLY SHIT YOU ARE AUSTIN’S DAUGHTER, NO WONDER YOU LOOK SO MUCH LIKE HIM.’ Mike shouted.

‘And no wonder you looked like Jenna, well at some point. You have the hair and the voice but everything else is from your dad.’ Tony explained.

‘Yeah, so in a month’s time, Dad and Jenna are touring around the world for two years and well…’ Sarah said looking to the floor.

‘We are going with them. We will be gone for two years. Now we weren’t meant to tell you. You weren’t meant to know but we trust you and we are leaving you for a long time so, we thought it’d be fine.’ I said.

‘We just didn’t know that you guys were so famous. No wonder why you guys knew Mr Way. Like what other bands do you know?’ Brendon asked.

‘Uh we’ve met many bands, too many to name.’ Sarah replied with a laugh.

‘Wow.’ Vic said. We nodded.

Everyone seemed excited and happy for us apart for Jaime. He was sat there quietly, head down and hands in his lap. I frowned and reminded myself to talk to him about it after.
