Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

Soon we were on the bus and moving towards our first day of Warped Tour, I was excited and nervous as I had no idea what lay ahead for me, "Hey Mike!" I shouted from the bathroom as I was re-doing my make up, thanks to that dickhead for making me cry, "Yeah?" He asked rushing to the door, "I'm gonna go to Of Mice's set today, wanna join?" I asked, he looked at me like I was stupid, "What?" I asked confused, "We're playing at the same time as them on Main Stage, are you really gonna miss my show to hang out with them?" He asked, I felt like he was getting a little angry and jealous, "Well I-" I started but he cut me off, "That's what I thought" he smiled before walking away again, I sighed and went back to touching up my make up, I couldn't help but feel this was gonna be a day full of arguments for me. When we parked I quickly got my shoes on, "Where are you off to in a hurry?" Vic laughed as he walked through from the bunks, "I need to go to Of Mice's bus to tell them I won't be there for their set" I smiled, he nodded thoughtfully, "Why not?" He asked confused, "Because Mike told me you guys are playing at the same time on Main Stage" I said sliding my other shoe on, "No we're playing after them" he said furrowing his eyebrows, I laughed a little in disbelief, "I'm going to go to Of Mice's set, don't tell Mike!" I said widening my eyes at him, he held his hands up and laughed before turning and walking away, I quickly rushed out as Mike was in the shower, I looked up and down for their tour bus and thankfully finally found it, "Austin?" I shouted before entering, "He's in the shower" Tino said not looking up from his phone, "Where is everyone?" I asked, "Alan, Aaron and Phil are at catering they should be back in 5, why are you here?" He asked locking his phone and putting it down beside him, "Umm I'm gonna be at your guys' set today" I smiled sitting across from him, he nodded and looked at me up and down, "Tino can I ask you something?" I asked looking at him with narrowed eyes, he nodded but clearly didn't want me to, "Why do you hate me?" I asked without beating around the bush, he laughed a little, "I don't hate you, I'm just cautious around fragile people" he smiled softly, "What makes you think I'm fragile?" I asked not sure what he meant, "Because you ran away from an abusive argument with your boyfriend and yet you still love and forgive him, they say the most forgiving have been hurt the most times, making you fragile" he said sitting up properly, I sighed a little and nodded, "You're a good judge of character" I smiled but before he could reply Alan, Aaron and Phil came rushing on to the bus and Austin came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, I don't know what happened but I couldn't stop staring at him, "Cassidy!" Phil shouted, I jumped out of thought and looked at him, "Are you coming to help set up?" He asked, I smiled and nodded before following him, Tino, Aaron and Alan out.

As I was helping Tino tighten bolts on his drums, I heard Phil murmur something and look behind me, I slowly turned and saw Mike standing watching me, "Can I help you?" I asked continuing to turn around and help Tino, "Umm, can I speak to you?" He asked, I sighed and nodded, "Tino I'll be a sec" I smiled before getting up and following Mike, "Did you come to apologize about lying to me about your set?" I asked, he looked at the ground and nodded, "Mike why are you trying to keep me away from them? They're good guys" I sighed putting my hands in my back pockets, "I know but I just don't-" he started but I interrupted, "Trust Phil, I know, it also seems like you don't trust me" I said looking at him with doubt, "What of course I do" he said defending himself, "Well start acting like it! I'm a big girl and I can handle myself" I said taking my hands out of my pockets and crossing my arms, "Oh well that's apparent" he said scoffing at me, "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked feeling a bit offended by him, "We aallll know you slept with Phil last night" he said raising his voice, I immediately froze and started to panic, "We only shared a room" I said shrugging, "Hmm and a bed" he added raising his eyebrows, "Oh this is ridiculous, you are ridiculous can't you put your jealous feelings aside and stop victimizing Phil and I" I shouted turning around to walk away, "Well maybe you'd be better off with Phil then, since I'm so ridiculous" I stopped in my tracks and turned to look at him with tears in my eyes, "Are you being serious, did you just say that?" I asked the tears threatening to fall, his eyes went wide as he realized what he just said, "Shit Cass, I'm sorry you know I never meant that" he said lowering his tone as he walked towards me, "Mike, stay away from me, I don't want to be near you right now" I said waving my hand and walking away, "Cass" he shouted as I continued to walk, "Cassidy!!" He shouted again but I ignored him as I continued to walk back to the stage, crying my eyes out.
