I Will Follow You

Tonight we are Victorious

I opened my eyes and swallowed hard, the dryness in my throat made me begin to panic. I sat up and looked around me. The room was seriously messed up. I looked to my right and saw Vic sleeping, sprawled out in the bed. That's when I noticed what I was wearing, white. A white dress. My eyes traveled down to my hands and I noticed, a ring on my wedding finger.

The bile from my stomach began to force its way up my throat so I got up from the bed and ran to hotel door, avoiding the bathroom. I opened the door and on the other side stood, Sarah. We stared at each other, both confused and unsure what to say. "He didn't break up with you." I stated more than asked.

"Did you two get married?!" She hissed at me. I could feel my cheeks begin to burn, and the memories from the night before came speeding back into my memory...

FLASHBACK

"Vegas baby!" Lynn screamed at me as we both climbed out of our bunks.

"I am not even ready for this." I said groggily.

"Pucker up kid, you've got a lot going on today!" She grinned at me, then ruffled my hair. I watched her walk away leaving me in the bunk area with my sleepy head wishing it could sleep more.

I rubbed my eyes and then walked out into the kitchen. Vic kissed my forehead and began making me a cup of tea. "So are you excited to go out in Vegas tonight?" Mike asked as I sat down across from him.

"I mean, yeah but I'm also super tired." I told him. "Are we not there yet?" I frowned as I realised we were still moving.

"We are about an hour away." Vic said as he placed the cup down in front of me. I took it in my hands and took a sip of it.

"Thanks." I told him. "So what are the plans then?" I asked.

"We get to the hotel and drop our stuff off. Get dressed and hit the casino!" Mike said excitedly.

"Really? That early?" I looked at him with shock.

"Well yeah, we wanna get some good time in the casinos before hitting the clubs." Mike grinned like a kid on Christmas.

I looked up at Vic, hoping he didn't wanna do the same stuff as Mike but his face answered that for me. "It'll be fun." Vic reassured me.

"Okay, whatever you say champ." I smiled at him.

-

"Why are you wearing what looks like a wedding dress?" Jaime asked, laughing hysterically.

"Rude!" I huffed at him. "It's not a wedding dress Jaime." I rolled my eyes but he continued to laugh.

The dress was white and that's about the only contributing factor to it looking like a wedding dress. It was short, tight and had long lacy sleeves. It wasn't exactly wedding material but whatever. "She looks good Jaime, don't be so stupid." Vic butt in, he pulled me to his side and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you babe." I grinned at him. He gave me the most loving smile he could muster and it made my stomach do crazy butterflies.

"You guys need to get a room." Lynn nudged me playfully with her elbow. Mike approached us in a fucking suit. All the guys rented suits out for the night, to be classy. They look questionable but who am I to judge.

"Are we ready to play some roulette?" Mike said rubbing his hands together. I downed the rest of my drink, along with Lynn and we followed the hoard of boys fleeting towards the casino. As to be expected me and Lynn both wanted to escape but were forced by friends.

"I bet you five bucks that none of them win." She nodded towards them, holding her hand out to me. I took it and shook it.

"Anyway this is boring for me, it's not like I need any fucking money." I laughed. Lynn giggled too but she genuinely doesn't have any idea how much I have.

"That's true." She said softly.

"You're curious how much, I can tell." I said looking at her.

"No!" She said quickly, looking a little suspicious. "Well of course, I mean you find out your friend is secretly rich aren't you a little curious?" She gave me an innocent look. "It doesn't change my opinion of you, it's just kinda like; how rich?" She ranted on.

"Well let's put it like this, it's in the billions." I said as I watched her face go from shocked, to completely and utterly baffled.

"Oh my God, that's insane." She shook her head.

"I don't use it. In fact I kinda learned to ignore it and only use it as back up." I told her.

"That's cool. It's not something anyone would ever guess about you." She pointed out, it was kinda nice actually. I didn't wanna make her feel awkward though, money isn't important to me.

We finally stopped at a table. "100 on black 17." Mike said casually.

"Black 17." The guy announced when the ball landed on Mike's number. I looked at him in shock.

"I'm good at this." Mike said proudly. He went again and somehow won.

"Okay, go all in and if you win you have to call Alysha." I smirked at him. He raised an eyebrow at my deal.

"And if I lose?" He asked.

"You never get to call her again." I simple stated.

"Fuck." He groaned and looked at his brother for help.

"Your call man, I'd go for it. All or nothing." Vic said to Mike and then looked at me with a sly smile on his face. It gave me shivers actually.

"All in." Mike said turning to the guy. He spun the roulette and we watched it spin, round and round until it landed on Mike's number, again. We were all speechless, completely and utterly speechless.

"How?" I asked in disbelief.

"Luck, now I got a phone call to make." He got up and took his winning chips. I looked at Vic and shook my head.

"This is crazy." I shook my head, a small smile creeping up on my lips.

"You know what would be crazy?" Vic asked. I looked up at him and shrugged. "Getting married in Las Vegas." He grinned at me.

My stomach dropped about 4ft and hit the ground. "What?" I asked, choking on my own word.

"I'm kidding Scar." He rolled his eyes and walked away.

Lynn looked over at me and motioned for us to get a drink, I nodded gratefully and we walked off to the bar.

-

"Okay, hit me with another one." I told the bar guy. He nodded and poured another shot for me. I downed it graciously and got up off the stool, I stumbled around a little and then looked around. I noticed Vic, Mike and Tony standing at the end of the bar so I walked over to them, trying to keep my feet on the ground.

"It's my girl!" Vic announced as he saw me come into view. I felt myself blush. I don't know what it is but when a guy calls you his girl, I don't know the world just fades away and all that's left is you two.

"Oh my God, why aren't you married yet?" Tony laughed at our reaction.

"Why aren't we married yet?" Vic looked at me intensely.

"I mean you live together, you guys are meant for each other. It's always gonna be you two so why not just be married already?" Tony drunkenly rambled on. I looked up at Vic and gave him a smile. A drunken smile.

"Why don't we get married tonight Scarlett?" He asked, a completely serious look on his face.

"Are you being serious right now?" I asked. "I can't tell if you're actually being serious right now." I laughed.

"I'm being deadly serious." He said. I felt my stomach do flips again. But this time instead of feeling sick, I felt... happy?

"Okay." I nodded. "Let's get married." I told him. His eyes widened and he nodded frantically.

"Go get Lynn, meet you at the chapel in 10 minutes okay." He said quickly and then kissed me.

I ran off to find Lynn, thankfully her and Alex were at a table. She was extremely drunk but at least she was still awake and aware. "Lynn." I said loudly. She jumped up off her seat and hugged me.

"What's up scarface?" She asked.

"Nice, never heard that one before actually." I laughed. "I'm getting married to Vic in ten minutes, I kinda need you to be my maid of honour." I told her. Her face turned from laughing to shocked.

"Oh my God, seriously?" She couldn't believe it. Alex had a look of something similar.

"Yes, we don't have much time and I need to get a few more drinks in me before I can do this." I laughed. She grabbed my hand and Alex's too. She dragged us to the bar and ordered 10 shots of tequila.

"You're gonna be a Fuentes after this, so let's celebrate with the most Mexican thing we can get our hands on." Lynn grinned at us.

When the guy behind the bar brought our shots, they made me take 4. "I'm gonna die tonight." I said as I made a face at the shots I just took.

"Let's get you married." Alex said hooking his arms with me and Lynn.

They led me to the chapel and I saw them all waiting for us. "If you're ready, go ahead." The woman behind the desk told us. Vic, Jaime and Mike went in before everyone else. Tony walked over to me and I smiled at him.

"Vic told me that if you guys ever got married you wanted me to walk you down the isle." Tony stated quietly.

"I can't believe in his drunken state he remembered that?" I shook my head.

"He told me years ago, but I remembered it." He grinned from ear to ear.

"Thanks Tony. For everything." I could feel my eyes begin to well up, and surprisingly, so did his.

"Let's get you married." Tony pulled me along. Lynn thrusted some flowers into my hands and a veil on my head.

Tony pulled me down the isle, and when I say pulled I genuinely mean he staggered down the isle and dragged me with him. It was far from the dream wedding that every girl has in mind but it was kinda crazy, erratic and out of the blue. Kinda like my relationship with Vic in general.

Once at the alter where Vic stood in an extremely awkward, weird position he grabbed my hand. "Fast version?" The person asked.

"Please." I answered quickly. Vic looked at me and grinned.

"We are gathered here today to join Vic and Scarlett in holy matrimony." He blabbed on. "Do you Vic take Scarlett to be your wife?"

"I do." Vic said drunkly.

"Vice versa kid." He nodded to me.

"I do." I choked out.

"Well by the power of Las Vegas state you're not man and wife, blah blah blah kiss and do rings, then please have a good life together." Okay definitely not a fairy tail wedding.

Vic picked up the ring from Mike and I began laughing when I realised it was a fucking mood ring. "Oh my God." I laughed loudly.

"I didn't have time to get a real ring sorry." He said sheepishly.

"I literally don't care." I shook my head, I then threw my arms around his neck and kissed him quickly. Everyone began clapping and cheering.

We did the whole signing the register and confetti everywhere shit. It was cute but once it was over we left and went back to the bar. "I told you that was a wedding dress." Jaime said as we walked up to the bar. And that's the last thing I remember.

END OF FLASHBACK

"I think so." I mumbled, feeling like my whole life was about to crumble into a million pieces.

"Scarlett what are you doing?" Vic sleepy voice came from behind me. I turned around to see Vic walking towards me, rubbing his eyes. He looked up at me finally and then his eyes widened when he seen Sarah at the door.

"Hi honey, I'm home." Sarah said sarcastically. I could feel my eyes well up with tears, my heart shattered and my soul slips out of my body. He lied to me. For the past two weeks he lied to my face. And now I'm married to him.
