The Boy Who Could Fly

(Charlie's POV)

I can't believe it, I honestly can't believe, there is no way that could have been him. I don't think I can do this. "Mike?" I said looking at him in class "What's up?" He said turning around, "I can't do this." I said to him "It's okay, hey we'll go off campus for lunch okay" Mike suggested I nodded, "uh, Tony?" I asked looking towards him, "Yea Charlie?" I tried to think what to say, just looking at him makes me lose my head, "Are we still on for our date" I asked "Yea, how about this weekend? After the party?" He said smiling, God his smile. "Sure" I smiled back. It was almost end of class so we were messing around. "When did you get this done Char?" Mike asked pointing to my tattoo, "Oh couple years ago, me and Kellin went and got them done, we have matching." I said looking at the bass note on my wrist. "We're music people" I laughed.
Tony's phone went off, and his happy smile dropped, "What's up Tones?" Mike asked, He showed him his phone "Oh..." was all Mike said, I looked at both of them "Um.. what is it?" I asked affraid of what it is, Tony sighed and showed me, it was a text from Jaime: Why didn't you tell me she was back? Scar sent me a picture of you guys! Why the hell didn't you say anything Tones!?!" I looked back at Tony, "What do we do?" I asked, He shrugged, "Well we don't see him till after lunch, and we are going off campus so I don't think he'll see you." Mike said, I nodded. I hope not.
Today seemes like it went by to fast, cause it was already lunch. We told Vic, Kai and Tay our plan and to meet out by the cars, Me and Mike were the first ones here, then everyone slowly showedu up, "So.. Jaime knows?" Vic asked hugging me, I nodded into his chest and let go, "I'm terrifed to see him" I said to him "Hey it's okay darling" He replied giving me a reasurring smile. We got into Vic's car with Tay sitting on Kai's lap, Vic didn't have a very large car but it was okay, Tony got in next to me and put his arm around my shoulder, "Yea it'll be okay Charlie, hey look on the brightside, the party is tomorrow." He said making me smile. We got to a Taco Bell and got our food and sat around messing around, just then my phone went off, I smiled when I seen a text:
Kellin: Hey babe
Me: Hey babe, what are you doing?
Kellin: Nothing much, hey what was the name of your school again?
Me: Clairmont... why?
Kellin: Mom wanted to know.
Me: Oh.. okay. What time are you going to be in tomorrow?
Kellin: About 2 or 3, depends on traffic.
Me: Okay, I can't wait to see you!
Kellin: Me neither, I'll talk to you later I have to go love you!
Me: Okay, love you too!!
I smiled even bigger, I was going to see my best friend tomorrow, "Who was that?" Tony asked, "Kellin" I replied he just nodded his head "When's coming in tomorrow?" Kai asked, "He said about 2 or 3" I said to him, "I can't wait to meet him." Kai added "You guys will love him!" I exclaimed,
We got back to school, and pulled into the parking lot, "whose that?" Mike asked, everyone was looking, I tried looking but Tay's head was in the way "Move you head Tay!" I yelled she laughed at me. When I looked I had a huge smile on my face when I seen this kid sitting on the trunk of a black car that had star wars stickers on the bumber, "TONY HURRY AND GET OUT!" I yelled Tony laughed and let me out, "KELLIN!!!!" I screamed towards him he ran towards me as well, "CHARS!!" he yelled we ran into each other, "Oh my god! what are you doing here?" I asked not wanting to let go of my best friend. "Go on, get reunited with you child." He said, He gave me the car key and I jumped in and closed to driver door, I smiled and plugged my phone in started playing My Chemical Romace. "Oh my baby I missed you so!!" I said getting out and hugging it. everyone laughed at me, I felt my face turn red but I didn't care. "Oh guys this is Kellin Quinn. My best friend from Seattle" I said Kellin did a small wave "Kells, this is Tony, Mike, Vic, my cousin Kai and his girlfriend Tay." I smiled pointing to each person "So these are your childhood friends?" I nodded my head, "So your Kellin? Charlie talks about alot too." Kai said to him, "She did the same back at our old school" Kellin said, "Wait. you still havent told me why your here?" I asked "Change of plans, Mom realized that I'll be coming this way every other weekend, so mom found a house here, they're driving this was this weekend" He replied smiling "Are you starting here then? Like today?" Mike asked "No, my mom said I could start next week" He replied to Mike.He just nodded. I can tell these guys are going to like him.
We all just chatted a bit till the bell rang, "Kai, I'm going to skip rest of school, cover me yea?" I asked "Oh.. I don't know...." Kai said smiling pretending to think about it, "Sure, I'll see you later at home" He said giving me a hug and kissed my head. Everyone else said bye until Tony came up, "See you later darling" He said kissing my cheek and walked off, I blushed "That's Tony." Kellin asked I nodded and smiled at Kellin, then I seen his face drop "Then who's that guy?" He asked looking towards where Tony walked off to, I turned around and seen Jaime walk out, "That my dear Kells is the devil himself" I replied "Oh, that's Jaime?" He asked I nodded again, "Yup that-" "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT PERRY!" Jaime yelled, then *POW* Jsmie punched Tony in the face, angry I ran up to Tony, "What's your problem?" I asked Jaime as I bent to help Tony, "Are you okay turtle?" He nodded "My problem? you have some nerves Charlie" He replied I helped Tony up "Seriously Jaime, why did you hot Tony? Were you jelous? " I asked, "Why are you back Charlie? Did your parents finally let you come back? Or did you finally ran away from your problems? Or did you get tired of not having any friends and being alone?" He smirked, as he said this I realized this isn't the same Jaime I knew, all my feeling for him finally left, all my memories of him, my self harm, anxieties were rushing back, "Fuck you Jaime, it's none of your damn business." I spat back, tears were threating to fall, I chuckled a little "What's so damn funny?" He asked "You, who are you now? Your not the guy I knew, your some fucking asshole who picks on kids with problems, but you know what Preciado, I'm not the same girl. She died a long time ago, she died the day you left her broken and unloved." I said to him, his face dropped a little, "I don't need this, you hit Tony cause he kissed me, it wasn't the first time he did that, get over it Jaime, no need to get Jelous." I said again, this time Tony was trying to pull me away, "Oh by the way Jaime.." I said making him look at me and when he did I crashed my lips onto Tony, surprisingly he kissed back smiling into the kiss. I let go of him and looked back at Jaime "My love for you was bulletproof, but your the one who shot me." I said, I turned around and walked to my car, I sat in the driver's side and sat there.. What the hell just happened?

(Jaime's POV)

What on Earth just happened?
"Jaime?" I turned around to see Vic and Kai, "Are they dating?" I asked afraid of the answer, I really fucked up this time. "No, but.." Kai trailed off "But?" I asked "They're going on a date Saturday." Vic finished for him, I nodded I really did fuck up everything. "What happened?" Kai asked, I sighed "I don't know what came over me, I came out and seen Tony kiss her cheek and I seen her smile.. I just.. I don't what came over me." I said looking to the ground, I decided to go back inside the school, "You still like her, don't you?" Vic asked, I sighed and stopped and looked back "I don't like her Vic, I loved her." with that I went back inside, I walked to my locker, and grabbed my phone, I got text from multiple senders about the Masquerade party tomorrow. I hope she going to be there.
