The Boy Who Could Fly

We had been sitting in the Diner for about an hour or so, just joking around and having fun, It was great being with Vic, Mike, Tony, and Kai again, we're all grown up but we're still the same.
We all decided to leave, we all walked out when Tony pulled me to the side, "Hey can I give you a ride home?" He looked down at his feet like he was embarassed, "Sure Tony" I said He looked up at me and smiled, we walked over to the his truck "You be careful Tony Perry, don't hurt her, I know where you live." Kai yelled after, I laughed and got in his truck, "Yea, Yea Kai I will." Tony replied and waved bye to everyone, "So, I know your not really taking me home," I said to Tony, He looked at me and smiled "Nope, going to the beach" He replied smiling, his smile... wait what am I thinking.
We were driving towards the beach when I got a text from Kellin.

Kellin<3:Hey sorry for not replying back.. My dad just left us.
Me: What? Are you serious Kells?
Kellin<3: Yea, I don't know what to do.
Me: What's going to happen now?
Kellin<3: Mom's wanting to move back home to Medford
Me: I'm sorry Kells
Kellin<3: I'm not he treated his alchol as his mistress, it was bound to happen.
Me: But still Kells
Kellin<3: I'm just happy cause i'll be only a few hours away from you, and I get to drive your car back to you.
Me :) I missed my car
Kellin<3: I know you do, I have to go but I'll call you tonight.
Me: Okay babe, love you talk to you soon.
Kellin<3: Love you too babe.

I sighed a little, and looked out the window and realized we were at the beach. "What's wrong Char?" Tony asked grabbing my hand "My friend back in Seattle" I said to him, he nodded and got out first, I followed and we went to our spot that we used to go, "I come out here when I need to get away, reminds me of you." He said smiling sitting down on a bolder. I sat next to and looked out to the ocean, the sun was setting "I wish I had a place like this in seattle." I said looking to Tony, "Really?" he asked, "I had a bedroom that looked out towards the ocean, where I could sit on the roof and watch the sun go down" I found a picture of it on my phone and showed it to him, memories of Jaime came up from that day. I looked back out "The sunset wasn't the same though." I said smiling. Tony grabbed my hand "I'm happy that you came back Charlie." He said smiling at me "Me too Tones." I replied, we linked our hands together, part of me was starting to have feeling for Tony, but the other half didn't want to let go of Jaime.
"Charlie?" He said breaking me out of my thoughts "Yea?" I said looking back at him "I know, you just got home, and you probably still have feeling for Jaime.." He trailed off "What is it Tony" I said giving him a small smile. "Well you go out on a date with me?" He asked, I smiled a little "Sure Tony." I said to him, He looked at me and smiled.
We sat there until the sun disapeared, "Let's get you home before Kai murders me" Tony said laughing, I smiled and went back to his truck.
Then I remebered "Tony, I thought you had a girlfriend?" I asked "I did, we broke up because I defended you and the rest of the guys." I looked at him, "She doesn't like Kai, Vic and Mike, especially Tay, we're all well known in this school, but we all have our differences" Tony said Ii nodded well what happened?" I asked, "Well, when I trailed off in English from them to sit with you guys, she wanted to know why I was talking to Mike. But she saw you and thought I was trying to talk you into sitting with us instead of Mike, but when I didn't come back, she seen that I was laughing and joking around with you guys, she didn't like you already, that's why she came up to us and dragged me away." I nodded and thought maybe I was the reason, "It was going to end anyways Char, she alwasy cheated on me, It was during lunch, she didn't want me to be back with me "loser" friends and with you. She made me chose either Her or you guys" I smiled and realized he chose us "I missed being with you guys, I miss us all together." He said I nodded "wow, that's really amazing Turtle, but about Jaime? What happens when he comes back?" I asked "He said he isn't coming back until next week so we'll see what happens, you do have two classes with him." I looked at him confused "Music and Art" He said I nodded.
We pulled up to my house, "Night pretty lady." He said kissing my cheek, I smiled feeling my cheeks get hot "Night turtle." He chuckled at the name. I got out and watched him pull away. I walked up the steps and seen Kai on the porch swing, "Hey" I said as I sat next him putting my head on his shoulder "Hey" He replied kissing my forehead, "So what's with you and Tone?" He asked I shrugged, "We have a date" I said to him, he nodded. "I don't want to see him Kai" I said to him, "It's gunna happen weither you want it to or not Char, He still lives over there." He said pointing to the house across the street. I nodded, "Let's go inside yea?" He asked, "Yea." I replied. I had my mind set on one thing next week, What am I going to wear.
