I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

I jumped awake to a massive rattling coming from the kitchen, like pots crashing, I cautiously walked down the stairs to see what it was, when I waked in to the kitchen I saw Tony slaving over the cooker, I quietly ran up behind him, "Boo!" I shouted putting my hands on his shoulders, I swear to god I got him so badly, "You're a dick!" He said, turning around and holding his chest, I burst out laughing, "You should have saw you're face!" I shouted, laughing really loud, I saw him look at me with a cheeky look on his face, I knew exactly what he was going to do, "Tony! No.. I'm sorry!!" I said, laughing and running away, I heard him running behind me, I turned to go up the stairs but he grabbed my by the waist, folding my legs up, he carried me over to the sofa and threw me down, "Do you think you're funny, yeah?" He said walking towards me, I burst out laughing again, nodding, he smiled and jumped on me, he started tickling me all over, "Tonyyy!" I cried trying to wriggle away, "Say, 'I'm sorry Tony, I love you very much and I'll never laugh at you again!'" He said smiling as he tickled, I sighed, "I'm sorry Tony, I love you very much and I'll never laugh at you again!" I shouted as I was laughing even harder from him tickling me, he stopped immediately and stood up, looking pretty satisfied with himself, as he turned to walk away I quickly jumped up and jumped on his back, "What's for breakfast?" I asked laughing because I kept hiccuping, "Well we're having pancakes and bacon with some sausages" he said, "Yum!" I said jumping down off his back, starting to walk away as I needed to get dressed, "Although.." He trailed off, I turned around looking at him, "You can't have any sausage because you already leached your sausage limit last night!" He said winking, I could feel myself going red from embarrassment I was going to say something smart but I decided against it and just put my head down, giggling a little as I walked up the stairs,"Remember the part when you said I was better than Jaime?" He shouted as he ran to the bottom of the stairs, I just looked at him, "Cause I do" he said winking and going away, it was true though you can't ignore the facts, I mean I wonder what Mike is like, is that why Alysha cheated on him? I shook the thoughts of Mike and I out of my head as I made the bed and got dressed, it took about 20 minutes to do my hair and make up, I have to admit I do look pretty cute. As I was walking down stairs I heard Tony on the phone in the kitchen, I slowed down my pace a little so I was quiet but I could still hear everything, "No dude, she doesn't know!" He said quietly, "Mike I'm sure. I haven't told her anything?" He said defending himself, "No I don't want to tell her, I don't want her freaking out again!" He said raising his voice a little, "No I don't want her to know, okay?" He said, I stopped at the bottom of the stairs, staring at the back of his head as he was leaning over the kitchen counter, "Okay thanks man, see you later" he said, hanging up and sighing, I walked over and stood leaning one side on the kitchen door frame, he turned around, sighing again, until he noticed me, he smiled at me, "You look beautiful" he said walking towards me and going to put his arms around my waist, I dodged his hands and moved to the side, he looked at me confused, "What don't I know?" I asked looking at him, I saw him panic a little as he reached up and scratched his neck, he does that when he's nervous, "Well?" I asked, looking at him, "It's not what it sounds like?" He said, defending himself, I opened my eyes wide, "Oh really because to me, it looks like you and Mike are keeping something from me?" I said raising my eyebrows, "Okay so.. It is what it sounds like, but I swear it's nothing bad!" He said, walking over to me, I looked at him and scoffed, "I'm going to go pack and then you can take me home to my house!" I said pushing past him and walking up the stairs, was I overreacting? Probably, but if Tony knew anything about me he would know I hate when people keep things from me.

It took me roughly 10 minutes to pack my suitcase and by that time Tony had got dressed and packed his suitcase, "Max I'm going to sign us out, I'll see you down at the car, okay?" He shouted up as he was leaving I just moaned back as I got all my make up from the toilet and other toiletries. I was dreading going back to my house but I didn't want to live with someone who lied to me, although logically, Jaime lied to me too but that's not the point, I made the bed and made my way downstairs, I braced myself for the most awkward car journey I've ever had. As I was walking to the car I saw Tony on the phone again, now that's put me in a worse mood, I walked to the car, watching him pace up and down having a heated conversation with someone, I rolled my eyes as I walked straight pass him not acknowledging him, "I'll do that if you give me a second, babe?" He said grabbing my hand and motioning to my suitcase, did he seriously just have the audacity to call me babe? I shook my head and kept walking throwing my suitcase in the trunk beside his and jumping in the passengers side, his car door was open, I leaned over as I was putting my seat belt on and looked at him, "Try not talk about me too much eh?" I said, he looked at me and smiled before saying bye and hanging up, he jumped in and started the car, putting his seat belt on and closing the door, "Are you ready?" He asked me, I just looked out of my window, he sighed and shook his head as he started to drive, half way home, he stretched his hand out and rested it on the inside of my thigh, I pulled my legs up to my chest so he had no choice but to move his hand, "Look Max..." He sighed but I was having none of it, he didn't need to explain himself to me, "I just want to go home, Tony!" I said, looking at him with hurt eyes, he took a deep breath letting it out slowly as he nodded his head and indicated to turn off this road, "Are you hungry?" He asked as we were coming to a near by McDonald's, I shook my head but my stomach growled as if to say I was lying, he laughed a little before turning into McDonald's, he ordered nuggets and a milkshake for me and a cheese burger and coke for himself, we sat in and ate it, we kept getting weird glances from different people as we weren't talking or making eye contact, "I think I'm finished!" I said standing up and throwing my food away, I started to walk away when I heard Tony call my name, "Max! Wait!" He said when we got outside, I sighed and stopped, "What!?" I asked, a little angry that we had to do this in public, he didn't say anything so I turned to walk away, "I'm sorry we just didn't think that you should know?" He said, I stopped dead in my tracks, "Know what!?" I asked raising my eyebrows, he sighed, I walked towards him, looking at him with tears in my eyes, "Tony?" I asked again, he looked at me, also with tears in his eyes, "Mike caught Jaime and Alysha doing it a couple of hours after he told you in Starbucks..." He said trailing off, I was speechless, I couldn't speak or move, I just broke down, "Come on, Max, let's go back to the car" he said I nodded as he started ushering me to the car, we got in and I just broke down, crying even harder, I couldn't believe this.

Tony didn't say anything to me he just started driving home and fast, letting me cry it out, this time when he reached over and rested his hand on the inside of my thigh I didn't move him, it actually felt good to have this comfort, finally we arrived at his house. He came around and pulled me out of the car, carrying me into the house as I clung on to him for dear life, he set me down on the couch as I was still holding on to him, I was sobbing into his chest, "He t-told me he bro-broke it off?" I said, trying to regulate my breathing again, I felt him nod, "I know baby, I know!" He said kissing my forehead. After I stopped crying I felt tired and asked if I could go to sleep in his bed, Tony nodded, but when I got up to the room I climbed out of the window and down the tree, making a run for it. I knew exactly where I was going, I started to head for our house. When I arrived I saw Alysha's car in the drive. I felt anger and betrayal build up inside of me as I rested my hand on the handle, I opened the door and didn't like what I saw...
