I Promise You, Someday

*Tony's POV*


We pulled up outside mine and I noticed my bedroom light was on, I remembered I gave Max my key and she never gave me it back I laughed a little in my head and then prayed that no one would notice, "Hey Tone? Was that on when we left?" Mike asked before I got out of the car, damn it, "Uhh yeah dude" I lied through my teeth, I was a horrible liar so I kind of thought that he would see right through me but luckily he never, I got out and stood at my front door for a couple of minutes playing with my hands so it looked like I was unlocking the door, I waved and went in, locking it behind me, I turned on the living room light and saw that the TV was on and there was a used mug and a couple bags of empty chips, I laughed at the fact Max made herself at home, I don't mind but I just think it's cute, I started making my way upstairs to my room, I gently opened my door and saw Max, asleep in my bed, without the covers on her, she was wearing my clothes, I mean she looked amazing so I wasn't complaining, I sat on the edge of the bed and shook her a little, "Max, wake up" I said, she slowly woke up but when she did she sat up with wide eyes, "I'm so sorry I didn't know where to go? Please don't tell Jaime I'm here, I didn't know if you were coming home tonight or not, I just coul.." She rushed but I cut her off, "It's fine don't worry, I won't say anything if you don't?" I said laughing a little, she sighed with relief, "Thank you" she breathed out, hugging me tightly, I hugged her back, we sat there in comfortable silence until my phone started ringing, it was Mike, I answered it, "Hello?" I answered, "Hi Tone it's Mike have you heard from Max or is she there?" He said in a panic, I looked at Max who was on her phone, "Max?" I asked, her head quickly shot up and her eyes went wide as she shook her head, "No sorry Mike, I haven't?" I said, lying again, I heard him sigh as he thanked me and hung up, "You are a lifesaver!" She said when I came off the phone, I smiled and shrugged, I looked at her eyes as she was talking to me, I noticed that she must have fell asleep crying because her eyes were all that weird way, "Tony?" She whispered bringing me out of my daydream, she smiled at me, "Can I ask a question, you don't have to answer it if you don't want to?" She said, I smiled, nodding for her to go on, "How did you cope when your dad died?" She asked sheepishly, I breathed out a little laugh, "Not well" I said, thinking back to the day that I was told, "I locked myself in my room and soon became depressed, I wouldn't eat, I wouldn't speak, I isolated myself and i shouldn't have I wasn't just hurting myself but others around me. I was stupid" I said, holding back tears, I looked up at Max who was crying, I leaned over and wiped her tears, "Don't cry, pretty lady" I cooed, she laughed at me, "Awwh Tone!" She cracked as she lunged over and hugged me, I hugged back tightly breathing in he scent.

When we pulled away I saw that she was still crying, "Aww baby, don't cry" I said, wiping her tears as she smiled, I suddenly found myself leaning in and she started too, finally our lips crashed and it was magical, after five minutes of making out, I pushed Max back and climbed on top of her, she rolled us over so she was straddling me as we made out even more I could feel herself starting to rub against me as my breathing got heavier, I started pulling off her check shirt until she stopped me, "Tony" Max breathed staring at me, I looked at her, "I love you but I can't" She said, I nodded kind of understanding I mean her husband nearly hit her tonight so I could see where she was coming from, "That's okay, I understand" I said, moving the hair out of her eyes, she gave me a sympathetic smile, she was about to get up but I grabbed her hips pulling her back, "You don't have to go" I said, pulling off my shirt and trousers leaving me in my boxers,I was hoping that she'd stay then she cracked a wide smile at me, "Really!?" She asked climbing back on top of me, I nodded, she bent down, hugging and kissing my cheek, "Thank you!" She whispered in my ear before rolling off me and cuddling into my chest, pulling the covers up, "Tony?" She said before she went to sleep, "Yes?" I replied, "I love you" she said, leaning up and kissing my cheek, "I love you too" I smiled bringing her closer to me and letting her cuddle in closely. I really do love her.
