Bulletproof Love

Emily’s POV:
As soon as the door closed behind us Vic started yelling. I wasn’t really listening I just kept replaying everything in my head. I hope Tony isn’t mad at me for not telling him. He probably thinks I’m so stupid. What about Mike he’s always been on Vic trying to get him to chill maybe he can work stuff out with him. I just want to be with Tony. Poor Jaime getting caught in the middle of this. I hope Mike doesn’t tell them why Vic cares so much. They’ll think I’m crazy. Ugh. I looked up from the ground and was snapped out of my thoughts by Vic “Don’t you understand that all I was ever trying to do was keep you safe and keep you out of the band drama. You’ve been through all that and I figured you would be glad that your big brother was looking out for you. I didn’t want you to get close to either of them!” he was so angry. “Vic calm your tits. We just went out to breakfast, we didn’t even do anything.” I said trying to remain calm. “I’m just trying to protect you Emily. There’s nothing wrong with a big brother protecting his little sister!” “Vic what the fuck are you protecting me from? Vic I’ve finally met someone I like! I smiled today, a real smile Vic. Don’t you ever think that maybe being with someone who is like me would make me feel better than nothing at all?” I was angry now and Vic was getting fed up. “I think you should leave Emily.” Was all he had to say. I immediately spun around and my heels and walked away. Not even looking back. I was done with him.
Vic’s POV:
She turned away and started walking away from me. She didn’t even look back. I feel so bad for yelling at her. She shouldn’t have been with Tony. I can’t believe how stupid she is. Thinking she could make this work out with him. Idiot. All I wanted was to protect her and here I am. I’m hurting her. I heard the bus door slowly open and saw Jaime’s hair stick out. “Vic you should come in. You can’t just stand there in your own sadness forever.” I nodded and followed him onto the bus. “Where’s Emily?” Tony said standing up. As much as he did seem to care about her I knew how relationships end when one of them is in a band. I don’t think I could live with myself if I let Emily get hurt again. “She left.” I said with no emotion. “Well where did she go?” “I don’t know Tony!” I said getting frustrated now. He must have got the hint because he sat back down. “I’m going to take a nap.” I announced to the boys before walking to my bunk.
I climbed in and sat in silence until I heard Jaime trying to whisper. “Why is Vic so protective?” Oh god Mike don’t tell them. They don’t need to know. Don’t do it. “Well..” Mike started but I couldn’t hear the story again so I quickly put in my headphones and closed my eyes trying to keep Em out of my mind.
