Bulletproof Love

*TWO WEEKS LATER BC I CAN*

Emily’s POV

“From Chicago to Nashville,” I said looking out the car window.

“From Nashville to Orlando,” he added as he grabbed my hand.

“And from Orlando to New York,” I finished. New York was our final destination on our adventure. We were going to hang there for a while and eventually head back to San Diego when after we gave Vic time to chill.

We had spent a week in Chicago and a week in Nashville. We were currently on our way to Orlando and I couldn't be more excited.

“We are going to Disney World right?” I asked grinning like a child.

“Of course, but you’re the fairest princess in any kingdom magic or not,” he said. He still had the ability to make me blush just like our first breakfast date.

“There it is!” I screamed pointing to the sign.

“There it is,” he said repeating my words. “Let’s go get washed up.” We went up to our hotel room and I hopped in the shower.

“So keep in happiness, and torture me while I tell you, “Let’s go in style.” A million hooks around, a million ways to die, darling, its cold outside,” I sang.

“Were those new lyrics?” Tony asked as I walked out of the bathroom.

“Yup,” I said proudly.

“Amazing,” he said humming the tune.

Tony got in the shower and we both got ready. I did his hair and he curled mine.

“You’re really good at this,” I said.

“I would curl my hair if it meant it would make you happy,” he said kissing the top of my head.

We walked into the beauty and the beast castle and we headed towards the restaurant. We sat there for an hour after we were done eating just talking and laughing about our lives.

“Wait so how did you meet my brothers?” I asked griping my side because I was laughing so hard.

“I was in a heavy metal band,” Tony said laughing.

“I wouldn't have guessed that little shy ass Tony would have been in a metal band!”

“My mother wasn't too please,” he said.

“You better make sure our kids aren’t as crazy as you were,” I said.

“Me? Do you know how crazy you are? You traveled with me 2,500 miles from your family!” he said laughing. I laughed too.

“Yeah, well half my family,” I said calming down.

“Em, I didn't mean to,” he said quickly noticing my sudden mood change.

“No, it’s alright. It’s just hard to believe sometimes that Vic and Mike practically raised me,” I sighed. “My dad died my freshman year of high school and my mom just ran from her problems,” I stayed silent for a second. “Oh my god, I am just like my mom, running from my problems.”

“Emily you are nothing like your mother. She ran from her three children. She ran from her kids not her problems. You would never do that I know you too well. You are so much stronger than that.”

“Tony I grew up without a mom or a dad; I can’t do that to my kids.”

“Em I grew up without a dad. He died when I was 10. I don't want our kids to be without a father either,” he said reaching for my hands. We had never talked much about his dad but I knew about it. I knew he was still really sensitive about it.

“Our kids,” I really like that I said tears in my eyes.

“Let’s go see some princesses,” Tony said standing up.

I cannot wait for the day we bring our kids here.
