Counting The Stars and Scars

*Max's POV*

By the time we had both had our showers and dinner it was 6:30pm so we had an hour to get ready because no one actually arrives at the time the party starts, I learned that from The Big Bang Theory when Penny is having a Halloween party and she invited Leonard, Sheldon, Raj and Howard and the actually turned up at 7:30pm and no one was there, I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and I jumped, I was still a little jumpy from that nightmare I had earlier, "Sorry" Jaime said kissing my neck, "It's fine" I laughed as we looked in the mirror at each other we were both in our underwear, he moved his hands down and rested them on my belly as he rested his chin on my shoulder, "I can't wait until this little princess arrives" He said rubbing my stomach after all the cramps and things getting my stomach rubbed felt good, "We should probably get ready?" I said leaning back in Jaime, he nodded, I have no idea what I was going to wear, I wanted to wear something that showed off my bum and boobs but I didn't want to wear something that made my bump look massive, I rummaged through my wardrobe searching for a cute dress, finally I found one, I laid it on the bed as I turned the curlers on and sat down at my makeup table and started on my eyeliner and lips, when I was half way through curling my hair Jaime walks in, I drop my curlers and stand up, "You look amazing!!" I gushed running to him and brushing him down, "Really?" He asked fixing his collar and sleeves in the mirror, I nodded my head, speechless, he smiled, "Thanks babe!" He said kissing me and then looking down, "You're not going in that are you?" He laughed jokingly, I rolled my eyes and shook my head pointing to the bed to where my outfit was laying, "Get a move on then, we're going to be late!" He said as he showed me his watch, "7:15pm, Already!!?" I said as I grabbed my outfit and pulled it on, "Jaime?" I asked as he was cleaning up my mess, cutie, "Can you tie my bow?" I asked turning around with my back to him showing the two sating ties hanging untied, he laughed and tied it for me, I sat back on the bed and clipped my shoes standing up beside Jaime and brushing myself down in the mirror, "WOW!" He said, his jaw dropping, I blushed and giggled a little, "You are beautiful" He said kissing my forehead and taking a picture of us in the mirror with his hand over my stomach, "Guys guess who's expecting? ;) @TheRealMaxC" he captioned it as he posted it to Instagram, I gasped and ran over to my purse where I had put the scans earlier, I pulled one out and took a picture of it, posting it to Instagram I captioned it, "Our little princess <3, @PTVJaime" just after I posted it I remembered that neither of the guys knew it was a girl, I looked at Jaime and we burst out laughing, as I scrolled down the comments;

I laughed at most of them and locked my phone, throwing it in my purse, "Wait? Do we need to take a bottle?" I asked Jaime as we made our way to the kitchen, "You can't anyway, you're pregnant?" He laughed grabbing an apple, "Well I think we should take the unopened bottle of JD in the pantry for the party and the OJ in the fridge for me?" I said, making my way to the pantry and grabbing the JD, "Are you being serious, you're going to take OJ for yourself, I'm sure Mike and Vic will have some there?" He said, I shrugged, "I want to take my own?" I said he laughed and nodded grabbing the OJ and his keys, we made our way to the car when I froze, "What now?" He asked sighing and laughing at the same time, "Should we take Winter?" I asked looking at Jaime, "Sure?" He said going back in the house to get her, I ran in after him and grabbed her basket, food bowl, water bowl and food, wet and dry, "What are you doing now?" He asked helping me into the car with all this stuff, "I have a plan" I winked, buckling my seat belt, he laughed and shook his head as we started to make our way to Mike and Vic's place. When we arrived it was 7:50pm and I could hear the party getting into full swing, I took a deep breath as I felt anxiety build up inside me, Jaime reached over and placed a hand on my thigh, "You'll be fine" he smiled, I gave him a sympathetic smile back and nodded getting out with Winter and the two bottles, we rung the doorbell, worried in case no one heard us but with in two minutes Vic answered it, "MAX!! JAIME!!" He exclaimed hugging us, clearly half drunk already I gave him the bottle of JD which he thanked me for, "What's with the OJ" He said, confused, is he really that stupid I stared at him and pointed to my stomach while Jaime went in. he laughed, "Oh yeah!?" He said moving a side and letting me in too, there were so many people here, I didn't even know half of them, I made my way to the kitchen with Vic to get a glass and saw all the guys pouring themselves drinks with the JD I brought in, "MAX!!" They all shouted at once and came running and giving me a hug, "You look amazing!" Mike said, "Beautiful" Tony added smiling at me, yep he was drunk too, "You guys look slick" I said winking, we all laughed until I remembered about my surprise, "Tony!" I shouted over the music as we were dancing, "Huh?" He said, very drunk right now, "I have a surprise for you" I said grabbing his hand and leading him to the car, I popped the trunk where all Winters things are, "What's this?" He slurred, "Do you want Winter? I mean Mike has Alysha and Vic, I have Jaime and this little one and you are alone, would you like to take care of Winter from now on?" I asked, he looked at me with tears in his eyes, nodding, "Yes! Oh my god! Yes!" He said, picking me up and spinning me around, when he put me back down our faces were inches apart, he went to kiss me but I put my hand on his chest, "Tony, I'm engaged, to your best friend?" I said sighing, "I know, but why him? Why not me? I love you more than you'll ever know I just don't understand how you couldn't see it? I love you, Max. I do" He said stepping back and putting his hands behind his head, "Please, don't do this" I said, crying, "I can't do this" my voice cracked, "I know, I'm sorry but, I can't lie anymore?" he said, also crying, I nodded and gave him a hug, "I love you too Tone" I whispered in his ear, "Yeah but that's a
different kind of love" He replied, I feel so bad for him.

We went back inside after drying our eyes and cheering up, I walked back over to Jaime who was sitting on the couch and sat on his knee, "What's up?" He said leaning forward and wrapping his arms around me, I could smell the drink off him, but I didn't care as long as he was having fun, "I just gave Winter to Tone, with this little one on the way our house is going to be chaotic enough without a massive greyhound running around" I laughed, he nodded, "Good call, babe" he said before kissing my forehead, I excused myself to the bathroom, this was going to be a long night of tears and confessions.
