Counting The Stars and Scars

*Max's POV*

"Jaime, wake up, we have to take Winter a walk!" I heard Max say as she shook me until I was awake "Mmmm" I groaned as she started yanking on my hand, "You're not going to win" I said as I pulled her towards me causing her to collapse on top of me, "I know but it was worth a try, come on we need to get ready" She said as she played with my hair, "Fine" I moaned still half asleep, I got up after she leaped off my lap and ran upstairs to get changed, I followed her, "You don't need make up" I said,I wrapped my arms around her waist as she was doing her eye liner, "We don't know who we're going to see, so yeah, I do" she said as she leaned back finishing off her lips, "Hey look, we're matching" Max said as she turned around pointing to me, then to her, "Yeah, except I look better!" I said as I got in her face, "You wish baby" she said as she kissed my nose and ran down stairs "shouting on Winter. "Jaime, hurry up!" She shouted, I groaned and started walking downstairs, "Here take the lead" She said as we were walking out, I took it reluctantly as we made our to the park, when we arrived Max was playing with Winter, I took a picture on my phone and put it on Instagram, captioning it, 'My two faves in one picture @TheRealMaxC @WinterPreciado_xo (Yes! We have an Insta for our dog!)' I locked my phone and Max came over, "Can we go home, I don't feel well?" She asked as she sat on the bench and cuddled into me, "Sure, it's getting cold and starting to snow again, anyway" I said as I shouted on Winter, clipping the lead to her collar, when we got in Max ran upstairs straight away, "Max!?" I said as I shut the door and ran up after her, I walked into the bathroom and she was on her knees hugging the toilet, I hear her gagging and I rushed to her side, holding her hair out of the way of the sick as well as rubbing her back, after she was finished she sat back and relaxed into my arms, she was silently crying, "Sshhhh, you're alright" I said cooing her.

After about 5 minutes of sitting on the toilet floor we got up, I tied Max's hair into a ponytail while she brushed her teeth cleaning away the taste and smell of puke, "Himes?" I heard her ask as she rinsed the toothpaste off her toothbrush, "Yes baby?" I said and I hugged from behind, making eye contact in the mirror, "Can we have a lazy night and decorate tomorrow?" She asked, I wasn't planning on decorating tonight anyway, "Yeah sure" I said kissing her neck. We got our pyjamas on and sat down with a cup of tea watching television by the time it reached 11:30pm Max was passed out on my shoulder, I decided that this was the perfect chance for a cute Instagram, I quickly took a selfie, captioning it "My princess @TheRealMaxC" I carried her up to the room and tucking her in, I was about to take my shirt off when I heard Max murmur something in her in sleep, I ran over trying to listen to what she was saying, "JASON!! NO!! STOP!!" She shouted I started to panic, I didn't know what to do so I started to shake her a little, "HELP!! HELP ME!" She shouted again I shook her a little more until she jumped awake, her eyes went wide looking around to see where she was, her eyes landed on me and she started to cry, I pulled her up to me and cooed her to calm down, she was still shaking a little until she fell asleep, crying, I feel so hopeless sometimes...
