Counting The Stars and Scars

*Max's POV*

-4 days later-

Today is the day that Jaime gets to come home, I'm so excited I actually asked Mike, Vic and Tony to go over and clean up a little, they sent me a picture, it looks so homely, they even lit candles!! I just hope my house doesn't burn down before we got him, I laughed as I changed into my outfit for the last time in this disgusting hospital toilet. As I came out I saw Jaime standing there with his crutches, trying to put my bag over his shoulder, "Himes honey?" I asked laughing a little, "Yeah" he said looking innocent, "What are you doing?" I asked watching him struggle to put my bag over his shoulder, "Trying to be a gentleman" he said pouting a little, "Awww baby, it's my turn to look after you, not the other way around, okay?" I said walking over and kissing him, I picked my bag, his bag and my suitcase down to my uncles car, "Oh no!!" I heard Jaime say as he suddenly stopped, "What is it?" I said, a little scared, as he was starting to cry, "DELILAH!!!" He screamed in the middle of the parking lot, I looked at him confused, "Who?" I asked, hoping that it wasn't going to be an ex or something, "My car, Delilah, she's gone!!" He screamed, i started laughing a little, he looked at me with sad eyes, "It's not funny!" He said pouting, "But it is because I already phoned your insurance company and told them what happened and your new car has already been picked up and it is at mine with some of your clothes" I said smiling, his cute, little face started to light up and he came towards me on his crutches, "This is why you are the best girlfriend in the world" he said, kissing me on the nose and getting in the back.

I sat in the front so he could put his leg up like I said before, 8 hours is a long way to drive, half way home we stopped at Starbucks, "Jaime, baby?" I said shaking him a little as he fell asleep, "Hmmm? Yeah?" He said in a sleepy voice, god that's really attractive, "Do you want anything from Starbucks?" I asked, holding his hand as he ran his thumb over mine, "A tea and a couple cakes would be nice" he said, I nodded and before I left he kissed my hand, sending chills up my spine, I got out and walked in, it was quite which was weird because it was a Friday and a two weeks away from Christmas, "Hi, how can I help you?" The cashier said, "Hi yeah, can I get a large pumpkin spice, two regular teas one with two sugars and milk the other with no milk and two sugars, also can I get four of your carrot cakes and one of your walnut sponges?" He nodded and added it all up, I paid him and stood at the side, "That's an awful big order for someone as skinny as you" he laughed, I giggled a little, "Oh the pumpkin spice and one of the carrot cakes are for me the other are for my uncle and boyfriend, they are in the car" I said, his face dropped, "Oh, makes sense, you're way too beautiful to be single" he said, frowning a little, I smiled and blushed, I hated being hit on especially when I have a boyfriend, soon my order was ready, I thanked him and left, handing out everyone's orders in the car.

When we got to my house, Jaime had fell asleep again, we unpacked the trunk and put it in the house before going back for Jaime, he was sweating and shouting, I shook his unbroken leg, "Jaime!! Wake up!! Himes!" I said louder than usual, he woke up startled, "You were having a nightmare" I said, he nodded and got up, I grabbed his crutches and helped him into the house, laying him on the couch and falling on top of him, I straddled him, "I missed you" I said leaning down to kiss him, "Can you at least wait until I've left?" My uncle said before scrunching up his face, we laughed and I got up, hugging him and thanking him, as did Jaime.

I locked the door when he left and drew the shades in the living room, I climbed back on top of him again, "Where were we?" I asked before leaning down and kissing him, he kissed back, obviously, and pulled me closer, he ran his hands down my back and rested them on my bum, within seconds of kissing, my phone rang, we jumped apart, sighing, "Will we ever get time alone?" He asked I just looked at him, "To be continued" I said answering my phone, "Hello?" I said not knowing who it was because I didn't check the caller ID, "Hey girl, where you at, me and some other friends are going drinking tonight, you wanna come?" She asked, she being Alysha, I know that voice anywhere, I looked at Jaime and smiled, "No can do babes, I gotta look after my man, maybe next time okay?" I said, I didn't actually want to go Jaime was just an excuse, "No worries chick, see you soon yeah?" She said, "Yeah definitely, bye, love you" I said before getting "love you too" in return and hanging up.

Jaime stared at me, "What?" I said laughing a little as I couldn't take his serious face seriously, "Don't use me as an excuse to bail on your friends" he said, a little upset as I got off of him, "I'm not, I am going to look after you, starting with a Disney movie marathon" I said making my way to the kitchen and blowing out the candles, his little face light up, aww bless, "I'll get the snacks and you pick the movies" I said opening the pantry and looking for my stash of junk food, this is going to be the best night!
