Counting The Stars and Scars

*Max's POV*

I woke up at 9am filled with joy and excitement, today is the day that Jaime and I go on our very first date together, I can't wait!! I checked my phone and noticed I had a text from Jaime, i started to panic lots of things going through my head, maybe he wants to cancel, maybe he hates me, I looked down at myself as I stood in the middle of the room, he must have put my pyjamas on, I looked down and saw the bandaged, I started to panic even more now that I know he knows about me self harming earlier this week. I opened the message..

Morning babes, how's the hangover? Just joking are we still on for tonight? Xx

I immediately became excited again, I was smiling from ear to ear,

Morning handsome, I don't have one actually haha, and yeah, definitely! Xx

Okay great, I'll be around to pick you up at 5:30pm so be ready for then xx

I just replied in my head and locked my phone, I looked at the clock it was 9:30am, I had to get a shower and pick out some clothes and oh my god I won't have enough time I thought, I decided to get an apple and water before I done anything, as I was sifting through my Insta feed and eating my apple, I was getting a call from Vic, then I remembered last night as clear as day, uh oh, I started to panic as I answered it repeatedly saying No I didn't over and over in my head, "Hello?" I said timidly, "You remembered last night didn't you?" he asked, I nearly broke down but I stayed calm, "Yes" I said, still trying to hold the tears back, "You don't have to worry I won't tell anyone but I do want to talk to you about something later, are you free tonight?" he asked, I thanked the heavens that I had plans, "No actually, I am going on a date with Jaime, but I'll be free Sunday night", I replied cursing myself for adding the end bit, "Great, I'll see you Sunday then and have a good night, I know he really likes you" he said before hanging up, there were loads of scenarios in my head about what Vic wanted to talk about, but I didn't have time to worry about them, I had to ge myself ready for a date, I raced up the stairs, grabbing a towel and turning the shower on, after I got stripped down I took off the old tattered bandage and jumped in it burned the scars at first but I got used to it, I quickly got my hair and body washed, everything that needed to be shaved, shaved. When I jumped out the shower, I rapidly brushed my teeth and re-bandaged my cuts. I wrapped my hair and body in a towel and ran through to my room putting the music channel on my TV.

I dried my hair and got my outfit on, after pissing about it was 5pm and Jaime was going to be here soon, I tried walking around my in my heels making sure my dress didn't ride up and you didn't see my thong, it did, so I ran upstairs, again, and got some hairspray, spraying it on my bum checks, I jumped as soon I sprayed my butt cheek because it was cold. I heard the doorbell, I opened my window, "It's open!" I shouted out, knowing it'd be Jaime as I could see his car, I heard the door close, "I'll be done in a sec!" I shouted again, "Take as long as you need!" he shouted back up after checking myself over in the mirror and making sure my dress didn't ride again, I opened my bedroom door and started to descend the stair case, Jaime looked at me with wide eyes, he looked amazing, "You look good!" I said, smiling, "You look.... impeccable!" he said replying with a huge grin, I looked down and looked back up at him with loving eyes, tucking my hair behind my ear, "Shall we?" he asked, I nodded grabbing onto the arm he had reached out, I can't believe I'm going on a date with Jaime!! The car ride was fun, we played eye-spy and 20 questions, "So where are you actually taking me?" I asked, he looked at me for a minute with a cheeky smile, "Two places the first is a restaurant, obviously and the second is a surprise!" he said, smiling, I poked his dimples and he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

*Jaime's POV*

I saw Max coming down the stare case and I froze, she looked amazing, better than amazing even, I don't think there is a word to describe just how beautiful she looked, "You look good" she said, smiling I blushed a little, "You look...." I took a long pause to try and think about what word I was going to use she looked down as she thought I was probably going to say something bad, "Impeccable!" I smiled, she looked back up with hopeful and loving eyes, tucking her hair behind her ears when she did so, god she gets me all the time!! I held an arm out, "Shall we?" I asked she nodded taking my arm as we headed out to the car, I can't wait to spend a night with this one, I fell in love with her the minute I set eyes on her...
