Waking to the begining
Ring ring ring.
This time I was woken up by my phone....ringing? I clicked answer to the unknown number and held it to my ear.
''Yo Milla, it's Mike, we're all at my place since you don't know where it is do you want me to come pick you up?'' ummm Mike? I'm mute...
"You idiot she's mute." said a voice in the background which is Jamie, I'm assuming.
"Dammit you're right ummm click your tongue if you're even there." geez Mike.
''*click*'' I clicked my tongue at this asshat.
"Okay text me your address and I'll be there soon." He said then hung up.
God these guys are stupid, well I guess I should get up. I texted Mike, my address then went to my closet.
I was sitting on my front porch when he showed up. His music was loud and the other two were with him.
I plopped into the back seat with Tony. Mike, then turned to me .
"You ready?" He said while backing up.
I simply made a fist then twitched it down, that's yes in sign language.
"What was that?" Jamie, said with a dimply smile
I just mouthed the words yes, I prefer using sign language since it's so fun and makes me feel like I have a door into a whole new world.
"We're gonna have to learn sign language." Jamie, said while looking at the others. they just nodded while Mike, turned up the music.
We arrived at the house and thank god we did cuz Mike, drives like a maniac. I went to open my door but Jamie, beat my to it.
"Welcome to me casa." Mike said while opening his front door.
I walked into the living room were Vic, was playing video games.
"Oh hey Milla, well I'm gonna stay the weekend with my friend Mark, so later guys." He said while grabbing a bag and heading out the door.
I turned and smiled at the guys. 'Ready to get started?' I signed to them.
"I have no idea what you just said but let's get started." Mike, said while clapping his hands together.
I pulled out a pen and paper. 'So were do we begin.' I signed to them.
"Let's just start with research, yeah?" Tony, said but looked away and blushed when I smiled at him.
"Duuude, how did you know what she said?" Mike, said while looking impressed.
"I have a deaf cousin so I picked up some stuff.'' Tony, explained while blushing. His blush is kinda adorable.
"Oh yeah, now I remember.'' Mike, distantly said while remembering.
"Let's get started.'' Jamie, piped up.
After hours of work it was late and I decided to stay over, I sent my foster mother a quick text to let her know. Now we were just all falling asleep to movies.
Tony got up and slipped out back so I decided to follow.
He was sitting smoking a cigarette. I sat down next to him.
He offered me a cigarette and I took it, I know I shouldn't smoke considering my throat is messed up enough from the crash but I've got nothing to lose.
I took a drag as he carefully watched me.
He seems so nice, I smiled at him and he looked smiled back before looking away.
We went back in side and laid down. Me on the couch, him on the floor.
Turns out his sign language is pretty good, we had a deep conversation on star wars outside. I rolled over thinking about how nice it is to have a friend that understands me ans that I can communicate with.
I soon let sleep over take me.
