A Flair for the Dramatics

(Month Later)

Vic and I started dating, and it was awesome. The guys started to play little gigs here and there nothing to big yet because the kids at school didn't hear about it yet. But soon we were going to be big.
I started to form a street team to help spread the word around school, so far it was me, Tony, and Kellin. Kellin is a new transfer student from Portland, lucky for him he made it in time to graduate with some new friends, he was cool and liked to sing, so him and Vic hit it off right away when Tony invited him to hang with us, we were in music class trying to figure out our senior projects lucky for us we were able to do a group one, but we still had to do solos, everyone settled with what they wanted to do, but as for me... I still have no freaking idea.

For our group the guys wanted to do a song they wrote it was an idea but we still didn't know. "Well, what song are we doing?" Tony asked. We all shrugged "Why don't you guys play currents?" Vic suggested "yea that could work but I don't want to sing your guys song." I said looking towards Vic "I'm sure it'll be fine?" Kellin had said looking at me giving me a reassuring smile. "Hey Kellin you should sing that song you showed me!" Vic said in an excited tone "Nah, you guys are going to laugh at me." He said turning his head so we didn't see his cheeks turn pink. "We want to hear you sing Quinn get over it!" Jaime shouted. "Fine!" He said laughing turning to Vic, "Remember the cords?" He nodded and turned to grab his guitar "okay then." Vic counted him off and he started playing

"Stay for the night, if you want to I can show you what my dreams are made of..."

I felt like I could be happy, his voice was amazing like Vic's, I could fall asleep at any moment, they finished and we all clapped and cheered, "well we know who's passing the senior project" Tony teased "HEY! Let's practice Currents then!" I said getting up. I looked to Vic and seen him smile knowing he was happy I picked his song "well let's do it then" Mike had said getting his drums together, "Turtle are you ready?" I said looking at my brother, he nodded and Mike counted us off, the intro played out.

Congratulations, break a leg tonight
What a shame I heard the understudy died under the knife
Crying backwards under bedroom lights...

We finished up and Vic walked up to me and hugged me giving me a kiss on the head, "Darling I fall more and more in love you" I smiled and looked towards Kellin, "So.. How was it?" I asked "That.... was amazing" Kellin said smiling "Now I know you guys are going to kill it!" He got up and gave me a hug and I laughed "Three weeks left guys!" Tony said we all cheered causing ourmomto come downstairs to tell us we're being too loud, we all laughed. Yup three weeks left then the rest of our lives.

Next isgraduation, Wednesday finally rolled around it was senior projects lucky for us we got to start first we were so nervous. We hurried and sat up everything, I felt someone wrap their arms around me so I tensed up "Hey Beautiful" I head the familiar voice say to me, I turned around to see Vic "Hey, sunshine." I smiled giving him a kiss, "Why are you not in class?" I asked he looked at me I could tell something was wrong "I…uh about that..." "Hey bro why are you here?" Mike came up "I'll tell you later...good luck out there guys" he rushed back out. Me and Tones peeked out and seen our mom sitting with mama and papa Fuentes and Jamie's mom with that we all got even nervous the curtain came back, and I looked to Tony and back to Mike as he counted us off, and we started into currents convulsive.
After our set we went to talk to our teacher and he gave us a surprise "well, guys that was an amazing performance, I'm passing all four of you guys, no need to do your solos." We cheered and sat to the side to wait to watch Kellin’s performance. He looked really nervous but started on his guitar, he played and sang the song that he had showed us before at my house, and that's what got me, I immediately thought of Vic.

He finished and we all cheered and Kellin passed his performance. We all left to go celebrate we went to our usual diner and we all sat and talked, Vic was still acting strange "Okay spill it Fuentes!" Jaime said and we all turned toward him, "Well, I dropped out of school." He said not looking at us "mom and dad are going to kill you." Mike said to him "I know but there's good news" Vic trailed off "well what is it?" I said to him grabbing his hand "there's a label wanting to sign us but they want us to play a big show." He said "are you serious" Tony and Jaime said at the same time. "Me and Kellin will get the word out" I said looking to Kellin smiling.

(Later that night)

"Are you sure?" i asked Vic as he held my hands "Yes, Darling I'll be back as soon as you know it!" he replied kisses my lips. We got into my car so i can drive him to Jaime's house to get on the bus for their first tour. "I just have a real bad feeling about this Vic." I said with a sob stuck in my throat. "Darling I told yo-WATCH OUT!" we swerved around one car then another one rammed into us making us flip.... "Vic?" i asked trying to get his attention, I noticed no movement... "VIC!!!!"

I woke up screaming, Tony ran into my room "ASH! You’re okay it was just a dream." he said hold me, at that point our mom came rushing in "Mijo?" "She's okay mama go back to bed." he reassured her. I gripped onto his shirt, "Tony?" "Yea?" "Can you stay in here with me?" I asked he nodded and I curled up to my brother and I started to cry a little. “What happened Ash?" I explained my dream to him, he nodded and said "It was just a dream Ash, Vic is okay he’s home fast asleep, you want me to call him for you?" I nodded and I reached for my phone and handed it to Tony.
He looked up his contact and pressed the call button I’m guessing it rang a few times cause then Tony answered back "Hey man, sorry to bother you when you asleep...No, she’s okay.. She had a nightmare and wanted me to call you for her.... you want to talk to her she’s pretty shocked right now... okay hold on... Hey you ready to talk to him?" I nodded and held my hand out, he handed me the phone and kissed my forehead, "just come to my room when you’re done sis" he walked out as I placed my phone to my head to hear a sleepy Vic
"Hello?" "Hey darling what’s the matter?" "I had a bad dream" I said almost about to cry again. "Well darling it’s okay it was just a dream after all" He said to me "Vic can you sing to me?" "anything for you Ash" I smiled as I laid down with the phone still to my ear "were you honest when you said I could never leave your bed, wake me up and let me know your alive.." with that I drifted offto sleep, this dream is going to be the death of me.
