Summary
Tessa didn't like Vic, Vic didn't like Tessa, they went together like Fire and Ice. She was reckless, mysterious, secretive. He was friendly and popular, but the title he beholds was as misleading as the name he gave her. Since the beginning of high school they hated each other, but one camp changed it all.

Since the beginning of high school hasn't been Vic's biggest fan, however she doesn't treat him as bad as he does to her. But at her senior grade camp she changes her perception of Vic.
Vic and Mike Fuentes
Mike is best friends with Tessa, despite being younger they both are as thick as thieves. Vic, however, has an incredible dislike for Tessa. That is until he has to go on a camp with her.

yeah my thoughts exactly, but having parents like that can set an example which can also have positive effects like 'well i grew up with this stuff so i want to stay away from it.' Which in this case is Tessa's current situation, she observes her parents and signposts that she doesn't want to be like that at all.
