~Mike's P.O.V~
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." The pastor told us. I tried to smile at Alexis as I kissed her. The truth is, my heart is broken into a million pieces. I hated seeing my Trinity so hurt. I wanted to run down to her and wrap her into my arms. I wanted to kiss her soft lips and tell her that everything is ok. I wanted to tell he that I love her too. But I couldn't. Alexis' dad told me that he would hurt me and everyone I love if I didn't marry Alexis. Her dad is a part of the mob, so I had to listen. Oh god, everyone must hate me now. I heard a phone go off and Jaime answered his phone. I widened my eyes when I heard him scream in horror. I left Alexis and ran over to Jaime. He wouldn't look at anyone but me. "It's Trinity... she's been hit with a semi." My heart dropped. "Did she... did she die?" I asked, tears slipping down my face. "Yes." I fell to my knees and screamed in anger and sadness. "Mike, they revived her." I looked up at Jaime. "They revived her?" He nodded. "She.. she's barely there Mike. The doctors told me that we need to go down soon to say our goodbyes. They don't think she will survive." I covered my mouth to muffle my sobs and I looked over at Alexis' family. "I'm sorry, but I love that woman. I need to go." I said and started to run to the car. I got in and waited for whoever wanted to come. Austin jumped into the passenger seat and looked at me. He nodded at me and I nodded back. I turned around and Vic, Jaime and Tony were in the back seat. I looked over to the car besides us and I saw Kellin, Katelynne, Copeland and Casey in Kellin's car. He nodded at me to tell me that they were coming. I saw mom and dad run into their car and pull up behind us. Our three cars sped off towards the hospital. I was in a trance. Everything was in slow motion and I wished I could get there faster. When we got to the hospital, we parked and we all jumped out. I lead our group of misfits to the front desk. "Where is Trinity Matthews?" I asked the nurse. She told me the room number. I looked at the group. They looked at me and then looked at each other. They nodded to me to tell me to go on ahead and I started running to her room, I didn't look back. I got to her room and I could see her through the window. I couldn't get into the room because there were doctors all around Trinity. She had wires and tubes all over her body. She was bloody and black and blue. I started crying again. I did this to her. I hurt her all over again. I promised her that I would never hurt her again, and not I let her down. It's too late to show her how much she means to me. One of the doctors saw me and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. "Are you Mr. Preciado?" He asked me. I shook my head. "No. I'm Mike Fuentes." He nodded. "You were the second person we were going to call. She- Mike I don't think that she's going to make it. She has a 7% chance of surviving. She will either not make it or if she does, have a lot of medical problems and she won't remember anything. I'm truly very sorry. We will try everything that we can. Now, does she have any family?" I shook my head. "Her mom died a few years back and she doesn't know her dad. Me and my family is all the family she's got." "Well, then it's up to you. Do you want to keep her on life support or pull the plug?" I could barely even breathe. "Can you give me some time to think about it?" I asked him. "Of course." He told me. "I'm also very sorry for your loss. We couldn't save the baby." "Wh-what baby?" "Ms. Matthews was about 4 months pregnant. Do you know who the father was?" "Yes. Me."
