Collide With the Selfish Machines
Numero Uno
*Third Person POV*
The not well known band, Forsaken Angels, were sitting in their home studio trying to figure out how to increase their following and tour more for the fans they do have. "What the hell are we gonna do?" Rose asked no one in particular.
"What the hell can we do?" Raiven asked hopelessly.
"If only we know someone who could help us." Drew said sadly. Little did the band know, Jaykub knew someone. That someone owed him a favor too.
"I'll be right back." Jaykub said and went outside and lit up a cigarette then typed in the phone number of the guy he hadn't talked to in four years.
"Hey, Jay. It's been a while. Said the soft voice Jaykub had almost forgotten about.
"Yeah, it really has been a while, Mike." Jaykub said quietly.
"What's up? You need a place to stay or something? You back in San Diego?" Mike asked.
"I'm actually calling about that favor you owe me." Jaykub said unsure of how Mike would react. Mike didn't even wait to tell Jaykub he owes him, but he did. Mike sighed before responding.
"What do you need?" Mike asked.
"Are you guys, by chance, going on tour anytime soon?" Jaykub asked carefully.
"Yeah, in a month. Why? Do you need a job or something?"
"Kind of. Could my band go with? We're having a little trouble being noticed. Could you help out?"
"Let me talk to Vic about it and I'll call you back." Mike said then hung up. Jaykub finished his cigarette and went back inside to his band.
Mike ran a frustrated hand through his hair. He never thought Jaykub would really use the favor he owed to him. "Talk to me about that, Mikey?" Vic asked his brother. He listened in on Mike's side of the conversation.
"You remember Jay? The guy i owe a favor to? He just asked if his band could come on tour in a month with us and Bring Me." Mike explained to his older brother.
"Let's call up Matt and talk to him about it." Vic said.
Jaykub sat down in his spot on the couch in the room. He really hoped Mike would pull through for him. After all, he didn't get arrested and charged an MIP for nothing. "Anybody got any ideas?" Drew asked. Jaykub didn't dare bring up that they may be going on tour until it's for sure.
Nobody spoke as Jaykub thought about Mike. He barely knew the guy, but trusted him. After a few minutes, the band decided to practice. As they were practicing, Mike called Jaykub back. Jaykub felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and stopped playing which caused everyone else to and look at him. "I gotta take this." He said after looking at who was calling. "Hey."
"Well, I talked to Vic and we talked to our tour manager." Mike said.
"And?" Jaykub asked hating the suspense Mike was causing.
"And..."

Do you think they'll be going on tour soon? The answer could be no and they go on tour a different time.
