Don't You Ever Let Me Fall
Chapter 4
After work, I went out for a couple drinks and a joint or two. What an amazing teacher I am huh? I ended up buying six tacos from Taco Bell and going home tiredly. It was dead silent in the house which changed as soon as I entered.
"Jesus Marilyn it's two in the morning." Vic mumbles tiredly as he enters the kitchen where I stumbled and moved around loudly. "I brought tacos." I say in my fragile voice. Drugs give me that type of vibe.
I get too emotional. "You can have one." I whisper, my voice cracking. "Don't cry okay Marilyn I'm sorry. I understand you're going through a hard time. Look, I'll let you watch 13 Going On 30 and eat ice cream and cry on me." Vic says quietly.
"Really?" I ask, my mouth full of taco. Vic nodded and led me upstairs to get into my pajamas. We went back downstairs and he started the movie as I grabbed the tub of ice cream. Vic finished my tacos as I downed chocolate ice cream and cried out loud.
What have I become? This isn't me. This is all Jason's fault. But maybe the attention I got was great. Not trying to sound selfish at all. It's just my parents never paid attention to me. It was always Vic and Mike since they had bigger dreams.
I just wanted to teach kids and settle down which I guess wasn't that interesting to them. And since I went out and partied durning my teenage years, they lost all hope in me. Well I guess they were right to.
I lost my future husband who worked with me and has a lawyer dad who has good money to lend and I drink and smoke half of the time. You must be so proud mom and dad.

I woke up with a major headache but it was Friday so it wasn't too bad. I crawled out of bed and groaned as I threw on appropriate clothes and grabbed my bag. Of course, Kellin and Vic were at the kitchen counter again.
Copeland ran around with Danielle making cupcakes also. Danielle handed me my coffee to go and smiled at me. "It's Friday, smile." She informs sweetly and I flash her a fake smile to make her happy.
When i get to work, of course Jason is just barely getting off his car. "Hey Marilyn." He states with a wide smile. My mind told me to ignore him so I did. "I just want to be friends, Marilyn." Jason says grabbing me and pushing me against the wall to catch my attention.
"I don't know, Jason." I sigh rubbing my eyes. Jason's eyes lingered a bit and he pulled away from me leaving his scent around me. "I'm across the hall if you need me." He whispers, walking into the school.
I hate him and what he's doing to my emotions.
