The Last Punch

I looked myself in the mirror as I washed the blood off my knuckles. There wasn't a lot of blood but it was more that I would've ever liked of Em's on my hands. Mel had passed the point of crying and is now onto not talking about it and being just numb and sullen. I had a terrible feeling inside me. Not in a bad way but, more so in a way where I couldn’t’ve cared less about Em.
“Hey Mel?” I said over my shoulder into Mel’s room. I was in the bathroom in her room and she was flopped on her bed probably scrolling through Instagram. I heard no response. “Mel?” I said shutting off the water and grabbing the towel.
“Yeah?” She said perking up on the bed. I looked at her and smiled. I threw the towel back on the rack and plopped myself next to her on the bed.
“Whatcha wanna do for the rest of the day?” I asked, looking at my shoes.
“Sleep..” She said looking at me with partly closed eyes. I smiled slightly and patted her head.
“Sleep child.” I smiled and stood up. Mel looked at me and made a grateful face. I shut her blinds and turned off her lights before I eventually made my way out of her room.
“She’s gonna sleep.” I said to Tony as I walked over to him in the living room. I sat on his lap and he wrapped his arms around me.
“Em is crazy…” He said into my back. I nodded and Shep and Adrien agreed. “Well, at least we don’t have to put up with her whining anymore.” Tony said happily.
“I love you guys.” I said smiling.
“We love you too..” Adrien said, wrapping his arm around Shep’s hip.

Hey guys! So funny story... Adrien will not have his electronics for quite a bit due to a delinquent on the electronic end of things. So it may take a while for the chapters because I do not have anyone to look over things and edit them. I'll keep you guys posted and sorry for the short chapter. Hope you liked it.
