The Last Punch

The encore had just finished and the crowd was going crazy. It was so loud and you could see the band smiling as they looked out into the crowd.
“You guys have been amazing! We haven’t played here in so long and we’ve missed you London! Give it up for Of Mice and fucking Men!” Corey yelled as the crowed cheered. "Give it up for Motionless In White!” The crowd was still cheering. “Let me here if for Lamb of mother fuckin God!” The drummer hit twice and the crowd roared. Corey smiled and motioned for the crowd to get louder. He laughed into the mic and smiled. “And I wanna hear you make some fucking noise for this next band, we’ve been tourin with these guys so much. Our brothers over there at Korn!” The crowd went ballistic and he smiled. Whistles and pounding flooded the venue. I laughed and continued to record. “And I wanna here you get loud for the most important people here.” The crowd fell silent, seeing that all bands had been listed. “You mother fuckers!! Our family!!” The drummer played a bit and so did the guitarists. The crowd screamed, pounded, and whistled for themselves. I loved seeing the bands so happy, these guys lived on the crowd and I don’t think the fans will ever really understand how much they mean.
“This was sick.” Tony said smiling as I went to hold his hand. We looked back at the stage and continued to watch Corey talk to the crowd.
“Have a good fucking night!” They all walked off stage and the lights soon returned to normal. As the guys came offstage they were handed water and their instruments were taken and put into cases. The guys took off their masks and they were smiling.
“That was sick.” Sid said, and everyone else agreed. The tour managers for each band came and started to get the bands together so they could head to the next location.
“Motionless in White and Of Mice please head to the busses!” Someone called. Ricky and Em said their goodbyes and of course Em was a mess. She hated to be away from Ricky, someday she would have to suck it up that she can’t always be with him. I gave hugs to some band members and we all said our goodbyes.

When we finally arrived home around 1am Em and Mel went straight to bed. Adrien and She were already sleeping, but I wasn’t about to go to sleep. Tony and I sat on the couch watching TV with drinks in our hands.
“Thanks for the great night babe.” Tony said kissing the top of my head. I smiled and looked up at him.
“Thank you for coming with us.” I said putting my head on his shoulder.
“I love you Tony.”
“I love you too Axl.” He made me smile and I could feel my cheeks turning red.
“Never leave me Tone.” I said looking at him. He shook his head.
“Never Axl. Never.” We continued to sit and as we finished our drinks we determined it was time to go to sleep. We quickly headed to bed and fell asleep almost instantly. And as usual, I was in his arms.
