The Last Punch

As my eyes flickered open I saw Adrien slowly and quietly creeping over to me with a sharpie in his hand. He stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me. He mumbled obscenities and flipped me off. I laughed and sat up on the couch. It was light out and I had caught Adrien.
“Sleep with both eyes open he said. Watch out he said.” I laughed and stretched my arms. He flipped me off again and I got up carefully. I tried not to wake Mel, I didn’t need her up this early. She’d probably just go home to Alex. In our group of friends we have a name for what they do. It’s Malex Fever. Whenever they are doing.. their Malex things in public we all come down with Malex Fever. It makes everyone all lovey dovey, and makes me feel like shit cause well I’m single. We rarely end up kicking them out, but if they get too hot and heavy, we have to. Cause it can just ruin the night for a lot of us. But I love Mel and try to keep her near me. After what happened with Lian I have learned to keep my friends closer. I get worried I could lose them at any moment. I reached Adrien and started to tickle him. His laugh started and it was a high pitched squeal… almost as if it was a squealing pig. I brushed the thought of a crying animal out of my head and I stopped tickling him.
“Fuck!” He said loudly. I slammed my hand onto his mouth and we looked both ways, I looked to the couch at Mel and he looked at the bedroom for Shep. He broke away and walked into the bedroom with sharpies behind his back.
“What are you doing babe?” I heard Shep ask sleepily. I quietly laughed to myself and stumbled onto the couch. I picked up my phone and looked at many incoming messages on it. All from Tony. I unlocked my phone to see what was up.
Tony The Turtle: Axl I need to talk to you.
Tony The Turtle: You may not want to talk to me but you need to.
Tony The Turtle: I need to talk to you, I love you..
Tony The Turtle: Axl I love you and I just left Levi. I need you.
Tony The Turtle: Can we meet somewhere to talk?
I stared blankly at my phone screen, not knowing whether to be happy or suspicious.
Alex: My place, 10 minutes…
