The Last Punch
Congrats You Two
It was later in the night and Mel and Alex came over to start planning for our wedding. Shep and I were sitting on our couch close together, imported from France Shep insists to tell everyone that comes over. Everyone. Alex and Mel were on the love seat, we were discussing the proposal-- I still cannot believe that we are finally getting married. But the stressful part of planning a wedding begins now. "So I have this wedding planning book I bought a while ago in London," Shep says, grabbing a book from the coffee table and handing it to me. "Brother dear, how long have you been planning this?" Mel asks curiously, Alex smirking by my side. "Well Adrien had been a little intoxicated one of the times we were jet-lagged at home, and I got curious about it. I rain to the local shops and picked this up, hiding it in my camera bag." Alex kind of coughed and looked at me, "Wait a minute Shepard," Alex always using that name when talking serious matters with Shep. "You got Adrien, the original straightedge, to drink. Enough to be intoxicated? You deserve a prize. Good for you Shepard. Good for you." I glared at her as we started discussing little plans. The date was chosen and all of our schedules before and after were cleared to make sure everyone could attend and help out. Alex came over to me and sat down, suggesting that we stop the planning for now. Shep suggested that the girls spend the night because it was nearly 3 in the morning and Alex looked right at me, "GIRLS NIGHT!" We all laughed and I ran into the guest room, taking miscellaneous pillows and blankets into the living room. When I turned the corner Shep broke out the fancy wine, "Ladies here is Château Pétrus. The fanciest wine and most expensive, their orchard is amazing. We toured after I was hired to take pictures. Even Adrien dived into the tastings, and that night later, oh my gosh, it was one of the best nigh--" "Shep!!! Leave that out of the story," I exclaimed and felt a blush sneak over my face. Alex and Mel broke out it a fit of laughter and Mel whispered something inaudible to Shep, causing him to crawl under the covers. I looked at Mel and she waved it off. "Hey Alex," I said, changing the subject. "I was digging through the closet and guess what I found? And no, not my 7th grade sexuality." Alex stated that she had no idea and I walked to the TV and played a dvd from when we were little. The camera was a little shaky but that was to be expected. Alex and I were on vacation in New Hampshire, I was invited to go with her. It appeared we were in the car driving up and I was passed out. It was early in the morning and Alex had a plethora of sharpies at her disposal. She pulled out a few and started to draw on my face. Making me look like I was a drag queen. The recording cut to when I was waking up and rubbed my face smudging the sharpies. "Alex. What the hell is this?" Then I looked at the camera and smacked it down, stopping the recording. Alex laughed when it stopped and I looked at her glaring. "Oh no laugh how you will hun. I never got you back and if I were you I would be sleeping with both eyes open." Shep yawned and suggested we go to bed and everyone unanimously agreed. Shep and I stood up and walked to our bedroom and I stopped before the corner, "Remember Alex. Both eyes open."
