The Last Punch

And when I say many of my favorite people, I mean many of them I loved and some I had no clue who they were. As I walked into the apartment I started to look at the people whom I didn’t know.
“Hey Alex! I’m Alysha! You remember me right?” She came over to me smiling.
“Yeah! How are you?!” I asked as she brought me in for a hug. “So you and Mike huh? Congrats!” I tried to say this with no sarcasm, but me being me, there was some. She laughed awkwardly and pulled away.
“Really?” She asked warily. I nodded.
“Yeah! He’s a great person and he really loves you, perfect match!” I smiled and she smiled too.
“Thanks!” She said happily. She kissed my cheek and walked back to Mike’s side.
“BITCH!” I heard Adrien and Toby squeal. I filled with joy and ran to them.
“Oh my God!! Wha- Why are you here?!” I pulled them both into a hug and everyone in the room laughed.
“You thought we would miss this?” Adrien said sassily.
“Damn girl… You thought!” Toby said with even more sass.
“I’m so happy you’re here!!!” I squealed again. I scanned the room and saw so many band members.. I’m guessing this formed as like a gathering because my apartment had the most floor space.
“We made cupcakes!!” Chris, Ghost, and Ricky said in unison.
“And they’re perfect!” Chris screamed deeply, dropping to the floor with the cupcakes still in his hand. I couldn’t stop myself from laughing, and remembering the day that we had to teach them how to make the perfect cupcake. All of Motionless came over and wrapped me in hugs. I laughed and they just hugged me tighter. I began to wonder why everyone was hugging me. I never got hugs. Is this because of the whole Connor thing?
"STAHHHHP!" I said playfully. Everyone started laughing and they backed away. I laughed and walked back to the door to shut it. "Why are you all here?" I asked laughing. Everyone looked at each other quietly. I gave them a questioning look and asked again. They all looked at Adrien and he sighed.
"It's... It's just like a thing.. A get together." He stated and everyone nodded in agreement.
“Wait.. I thought this was to help her cope with the whole Connor thing?” Alan asked cluelessly.
Adrien briskly walked over to him and 'whispered' in his ear, "Bitch what the fuck do you think you're doing. We are not talking about it. Do. You. Hear," he pauses then screams, "ME?!"
"Babe calm down." Shep says walking up to Adrien, putting his hand on his shoulder. He led him over to another part of the room and talked to him.
"You guys are great... What would I do without you? I mean, like-without you guys I would've never made it through Kel, Lian, and now Connor." I said smiling sadly. "Can I have one of those cupcakes?" I asked pointing to Chris. He nodded quickly and smiled. “So I’m guessing Adrien planed this?” I said laughing. Everyone nodded and I saw Mel walk in the door with Alex hand in hand.
“Em!!!!” Mel screamed, running to her.
“Mel!!!!” Emme returned. They slammed into each other and hugged for a long time. I saw Adrien return with Shep. Shep seemed nervous and Mel called him out on it.
“Why so sketchy?!” She said walking over to her and cocking her head to the left.
“Ya know… Reasons.” He said, trying not to smile or give away what he was to do in a minute or so. I started to make connections and I knew what was going on. I was nervous and thought this day would never come.
“Huh…” Mel said all smiley. There were tons of people here and I feared what the outcome may be. “Shep…” She looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
“Okay!! GOD!!!” He scoffed, and then smiled. He looked me in the eyes, as if to ask for permission for him to ask Adrien. I gave him a look and he smiled. He walked over to a confused Adrien and smiled once again.
“What?” Adrien said flamboyantly.
“Adrien… Ever since Mel introduced us I have know I would be with you. You are my dream man and I wish to be yours.” Everyone started to awe at this, as people caught on Adrien began to also. Em, Mel, and I all ran to each other and held hands. Adrien gasped and covered his mouth. “I love and will always. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I hope you do too.” Shep dropped to his knee and pulled an embellished gold ring out of his breast pocket. “I bloody love you Adrien… Will you marry me?” He said with a twinge at the end of his voice. An awe spears around the room and you could hear us three girls let out a squeal. Adrien looked around the room then back down at Shep. His hand was still over his mouth when I saw tears forming in his eyes. He started to nod his head fast and he let out a squeal that sounded like yes. He took his hand away from his mouth and said yes between tears. I looked around the room and made eye contact with Tony. He gave me a look and I gave him the same look. It was the look of this could be us. I snapped out of it as everyone cheered, the ring was put on his finger. Shep stood up and wrapped Adrien in his arms.
“I love you to the moon, Adrien.” He whispered in his ear.
“I love you to the moon and back, Shep.” Adrien held him tighter and whispered back.
