Magdalynn was stringing decorations across her balcony. Christmas was in just over a week, and she had waited until the last minute to hang the small twinkling lights. She had been distracted. Trying to balance her finals and shop for presents was overwhelming. She sighed and smiled as she finished hanging them and plugged them into the wall. She walked in and plopped down on the couch, glancing at her phone. There was only 3 more hours until the boys would be arriving at the airport. Even though She told Vic that she had a final when their flight was coming in, so she wouldn't be able to go, but she just wanted to surprise him. They had a van with a trailer arranged to pick them up with all of their gear, but she wanted to be able to bring him home so they could have some alone time. Between the guys touring and Magdalynn's school, she hadn't gotten to see enough of Vic. Sure, he came home for her birthday, and they had a short break between tours, but she missed her man. They had flown her out to Colorado when they played there, knowing that she wanted to come out to a live show, but also wanting to help her see her family, who lived there. She peeled off her clothes and hopped into the shower. She put a deep conditioner on and shaved everywhere she could reach. She stayed in extra long, just to let the hot water relax her. She finally turned off the faucet and dried off, heading back to her room. She rubbed sparkly Victoria's Secret lotion on all over and put on Vic's favorite perfume. She quickly applied makeup, blow-dried and straightened her hair, then headed to her closet to pick out clothes. She grabbed a pair of tight skinny jeans and a low cut sweater. She still had about an hour to waste until she needed to head to the airport so she flipped on the television and started watching some pointless show on TV. She checked her phone every five minutes until it was finally time to leave. She practically ran to her car, and was trying not speed on her way there. After what seemed like hours of searching, she found a parking spot and walked in. She checked to monitor to see when the flight was coming in. Their plane had already landed, but everyone was still getting out of the airplane and walking to baggage claim. She stood and waited for their bags to come out, watching for any of the boys' suitcases to come out. Before they left for tour, she had made them all little tie-ons so that they could easily recognize their bags. She saw Vic's suitcase come out, and she grabbed it quickly, struggling to pull it over the edge of the machine. She couldn't imagine how much stuff he had packed in the bag. She was pretty sure that he had more clothes than she did. She looked down the hall for a sign of a small, long-haired boy who had her heart. Finally, he appeared, looking tired and a bit disoriented. It was a long flight, and she could tell it had worn him out. She stood looking nonchalantly, waiting for him to notice her. When he finally did, the hugest surprised smile spread across his face. He ran towards her, picking her up off of the ground and swinging her in a circle.
“Baby! I missed you so much! I wasn't expecting you to be here!” He kissed all over her face while still squeezing her tight, loving the feeling of her in his arms. She was so happy she could barely speak. Tears of joy were forming at the corner of her eyes.
“I wanted to surprise you babe. Do you really think I would let anything get in the way of me seeing you the moment you got into town?” She smiled at him, giving him a long kiss on the lips. They continued kissing, holding each other as close as they possibly could until Mike came up to them and gave a little cough.
“Uh, hey guys, let's keep this PG. You've got little old ladies giving you dirty looks” He laughed a little at them. Magdalynn broke away from Vic and gave Mike a big hug.
“I missed you Mikey. How was tour?” She asked him, looking all the way up to his face.
“It was great. I'm ready to be home though” He smiled at her.
“Mags! I missed you so much!” Jamie ran up and gave her almost as big of a hug as Vic did.
“I missed you too Himey! But I think you're crushing my lungs..” She squeaked out while pressed against his chest. Before they had left for tour, Jamie had become one of Magdalynn's best friends. He was super fun to be around, but mostly he was just really good at listening.
“Sorry, I just can't help myself sometimes!” He laughed, putting her down. She walked over to Tony and gave him a hug, then waved at the crew. They were already on top of getting everything off of the belt and onto the floor.
“Just go Vic. We've got this” Casey said, noticing Vic's impatience. He was rocking back and forth between his feet and twiddling his fingers. He smiled and waved at everyone before grabbing Magdalynn's hand and skipping out of the airport. She was parked decently close, so they made it to the car in no time. He opened her car door and she climbed. Vic went around to the passenger's side and got in. He didn't buckle his seat belt, as always. Once they were comfortably seated inside, Vic turned to Magdalynn.
“I'm so happy you came babe. I was counting down the hours until I got to see your beautiful face again. I thought it was going to be a bit longer” He smiled at her and grabbed her hand. She smiled back at him, biting her lip.
“I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I've been so lonely without you here” She whispered to him. She turned back around, facing forward and putting the keys in the ignition. “Your house or mine?” She said, laughing at his perked up reaction.
“Your apartment! The guys are going to be back at the house soon, and I'm tired of being around the same people constantly. I think it's about time that I get some alone time with my favorite girl” He winked at her as she continued to drive. They had light conversation on the way back to her apartment. She told him about school and how hard her finals were, and he talked about tour adventures, drunk nights, and crazy antics. They finally pulled into the parking lot. They both rushed upstairs, leaving his bags in the car. She struggled with the keys, finally pulling out the right one and putting it in the door. She pushed it open, and he closed it behind them before picking her up by her butt. She wrapped her legs around his waist and the kissed passionately. She held on to him tight as he headed for the bedroom.
“Welcome home Victor!” A voice said from the living room. Magdalynn screamed and Vic dropped her out of shock. Jack sat up from the couch with a goofy grin on his face.
“Oh! Uh, hi Jack..” Vic said, out of breath. Jack stood up and gave him a hug then returned to the couch.
“Soooo, how was tour? He crossed his legs and twiddled his thumbs.
“Jack, out.” Magdalynn said, her voice firm. He laughed at her. She walked to the door and opened it. “I'm serious. You can see Vic later, I'm sure there will be a welcome home party at some point. Now leave” she pointed outside with a pissed off look on her face. He frowned and looked like a beaten puppy, walking slowly towards the door. She smacked his butt on the way out, then closed and locked the door behind him.
“Now where were we?” She asked, licking her lips. Vic smiled down at her and gave her a kiss. “I bet I can beat you to the bedroom” She mumbled against his lips and took off running down the hall, peeling clothes off as she went. He came behind her, grabbing her hips from behind when he caught up. He pushed her hair to the side and kissed up and down her neck. He ran he hands up her body to her breasts, giving them a light squeeze.
“Ow! Vic, that hurt!” She turned around, pouting.
“I barely touched them babe..” He frowned and gave her a confused look. “Are you on your period? You're never this sensitive” He rubbed her sides and gave her a little peck.
“No, I'm not. I've been kinda sensitive for a few weeks, but I'm sure it's not really a big deal. Maybe something that has to do with my birth control” She looked down at her chest.
“I want you to go to the doctor babe.. I don't mean to sound like an ass, and it's not just because I want to play with your magnificent boobies. I just want to make sure you're ok, and if it's your birth control, you can switch to something that will be a little better” He looked genuinely concerned. She smiled at him as he touched her face.
“Ok babe. I'll make an appointment. Will you come with me though? I really don't like doctor's offices” She shuddered, thinking about the sanitary smell and all of the needles.
“Of course I will. Do you want to just cuddle? If this is a birth control issue, I don't think we need to be doing the dirty right this second. And, I''m really scared to hurt you” He frowned.
